A guided visualization to reach a temple where you may come upon your guides or gifts from your guides. An opportunity to ask questions or receive clarity on uncertain matters or to find comfort in a visit with the guides that support you.

Welcome.

Today I'll be leading you towards the visualization,

The journey of sorts.

You might need to meet your guides to find your own solution,

And just to get away from it all.

You can start by just arriving in your body,

Whatever comfortable position makes the most sense for you.

Make sure that there is no fabric bunched up underneath you to distract you.

Set yourself up in the most comfortable way that you can remain relaxed,

And yet allowing the mind to be somewhat alert,

Somewhat available for this visualization.

Start by just taking a few rounds of breath.

Start by taking a few rounds of deep breath,

Filling the body up and expanding the lungs and the belly,

And then perhaps even sighing to let it go.

Take another round,

Filling the body,

Expanding,

And then letting that empty,

Releasing.

One last time together.

Draw the breath in.

Feel your body fill up with air,

And then recognize the body deflating and emptying.

Now come into a natural rhythm of breath.

Something that feels both soothing,

But gives you awareness of your energy.

Start to smooth the breath out so that it becomes a natural rhythm,

A natural cadence moving through your body.

Feeling the body get heavy,

Supported by whatever's beneath it,

And falling into that support.

Then I want you to imagine that your eyelids resting over top of your eyes have become your own little movie theater.

You're the only one in the audience.

You've got the place to yourself.

So your eyelids become the screen on which to watch,

To observe.

So on this screen,

I'd like you to see yourself walking down the old country lane.

Feel the ground beneath you.

It's not paved,

Just dirt and rocks and soil.

As you walk along,

You find a field with a gate.

You're able to open the gate and it leads to a path that travels through that field.

I'd like you to imagine what might be in the field.

It's flowers or grass.

There's butterflies or dragons.

Or if there's no insects at all.

In the far distance,

You see a bit of a plateau with a building on it.

Even further in the distance,

You see some mountains and they're so tall that you can even see that there's some snow caps.

And as you continue to cross the field,

You can feel the earth beneath your feet and become aware of the scent around you,

Whatever's within that field.

You might even come across some wildlife.

As if there are animals or insects or specific flowers,

Trees that you see.

These subtle visitors might be able to give you some more education about what your subtle mind is offering you.

At the bottom of the plateau,

You've come across it and you see that there's some steps.

Climb up these steps.

Paying attention to what they're made from.

What sort of material is supporting these steps.

The top of the plateau,

There's a temple.

And again,

You notice what it's constructed from.

You notice the architecture of it,

The materials it's made from.

And you see that there's a door that's slightly open.

You feel invited in,

So you enter.

As you walk inside,

Notice if it's dark or if it's light inside.

How is it decorated?

Is there an altar at the front of the room or is it at the side or is there no altar at all?

Perhaps you see a gift just for you.

Is there anyone else present?

Do they offer an introduction of themselves to you?

You might even have a conversation or an opportunity to ask a question or two of something that's been bothering you or something you need an answer to.

Continue to explore the room.

Gather up your details.

Continue any conversation.

Continue to explore the room.

How many feel as though you've finished exploring the room?

Seeing anyone there,

Take a moment and give thanks for your gift if you've received one and the conversation and the simple opportunity for being present in this space.

Good farewell.

Go back through that small door that you came in.

Make your way down the steps.

Traveling across the field that you came through.

Coming upon that gate.

Slowly down that lane made to return your journey.

Slowly then we'll leave behind your closed eyes and return to the shade of closed eyes.

I'd like you to keep them closed for a few moments and just recognize the weight beneath you,

The ground supporting you and rest your own weight upon that.

Change yourself to get even heavier and take a short inventory of where you went,

Who you came upon,

The details.

Gather that information even deeper into the body by feeling the air between your toes and the spaces between your fingers,

Perhaps allowing the thumb to touch each finger and come back into recognition of this vessel that you're living in.

And you can slowly start to take gentle movements.

It could be just the fingers unfurling and expanding and then into the wrists,

The ankles.

You need to sway your legs or your head and then gather up the invitation that your body has,

The request it's making.

What would it like to do in this moment?

Sometimes it wants to stretch nice and big and long and expand and other times your body wants to curl in close and contained.

Honor whatever's coming up.

Eventually bringing your body into a position where you can feel alert arriving in your body,

Your vessel.

If it serves you,

You can bring your hands towards your heart,

Perhaps palm to palm or one hand over the other,

Pressing it against your chest.

Take a full deep breath in and then let it go.

I value you to your presence,

To your practice,

To your divine and to your light,

To your health.
