Close your eyes or soften your gaze.

Let's take three rounds of box breathing to reset our nervous system to its optimal state for knowledge work or creative work.

Empty your lungs.

Inhale two three.

Hold two three.

Exhale two three.

Hold two three.

Inhale two three.

Hold two three.

Exhale two three.

Hold two three.

Inhale two three.

Hold two three.

Exhale two three.

Hold two three.

Now let your breathing be natural and easy.

Let's set some intentions and affirmations for getting into a productive headspace.

Repeat each intention out loud or in your head.

I intend to easily tap into my knowledge and expertise.

I intend to be an intellectual and creative flow.

I intend to feel energized by my work.

I intend to innovate in small or large ways.

I intend to meet challenges with curiosity.

I intend to express my vision with clarity.

I intend to take restorative breaks so I can work sustainably.

I intend to generate value through my work product.

Let those intentions expand out into the universe.

And let's make some affirmations.

I am focused.

I am inspired.

I am relaxed in my drive.

I am in control.

I am expressive.

I am clever.

I am intuitive.

I am productive.

Let those affirmations land one by one in your core being.

Feel them to be true.

Now visualize the intentions we set earlier and recommit to them.

We'll seal in our practice with three more rounds of box breathing,
