Welcome to this guided meditation.
My name is Yogi Brian and this meditation is for someone that's suffering from withdrawals from addiction.
I feel you.
I hear you.
If you're suffering,
If you're feeling the withdrawal symptoms,
It's okay.
This meditation is for you.
Listen to this meditation anytime you feel the urge or the desire to fall into your addiction or if you feel that withdrawal symptom so hard and harsh that you need relief.
This is here for you.
Use this at any time,
At any time throughout the day,
Morning,
Afternoon,
Evening,
Night,
Middle of the night.
Anytime you need this,
Use it.
It'll help,
I promise.
So find a place where you can be still.
You may have to do this lying down if you're feeling not so well.
Do this lying down.
Use headphones if you can.
And when you find that place,
Softly and gently close your eyes.
And just bring your awareness and attention to your breathing.
Awareness and attention to your breathing.
Just your natural breath.
Nothing to do or control.
Because during this meditation,
All you have to do is breathe and listen to the sound of my voice.
And as you breathe and listen to the sound of my voice,
Your body can eventually and naturally relax.
Your body can let go.
Your withdrawals will seem to fade away,
One breath at a time,
One minute at a time,
One day at a time.
So just bring your awareness and attention to your breathing.
And notice your breath.
Observe your breath.
Is your breath smooth,
Deep,
Shallow,
Or choppy?
How does your breath feel?
Now take a nice deep inhale through your nose with your mouth closed.
And exhale,
Open the mouth,
Make a ha sound.
H-A-A.
Ha.
Again close the mouth,
Inhale through your nose.
And make a ha sound.
Ha.
Again,
Close your mouth,
Inhale through your nose.
Open the mouth side up.
Ha.
There you go.
And now find a steady,
Comfortable,
Natural breath.
Open and out,
Either in through your nose or out through your nose or in through your mouth and out through your mouth.
A comfortable breath.
A natural breath.
And in a moment,
I'll guide you through Ujjayi Pranayama breath.
And this breath strengthens you,
Energizes you,
But it also relaxes you.
It's a nice equalizer.
It's a nice breath to get you through the tough times.
The times where you don't feel so good,
Both physically and mentally.
And in just a moment,
You'll do this Ujjayi Pranayama breath.
And now let's practice this breath.
So before you practice,
Let me give you the instructions.
You'll breathe in through your nose.
And then on an exhale,
You'll feel like you're fogging up a mirror.
So making that ha sound like you're fogging up a mirror.
So you'll inhale through your nose.
And on an exhale,
Open the mouth and act like you're fogging the mirror,
Constrict the throat.
Ha.
Again,
Inhale through your nose.
And on an exhale,
Constrict the throat,
Fog up that mirror.
Ha.
There you go.
And now you'll keep that same breath,
But on the exhale,
You'll keep your mouth closed.
You'll constrict the throat.
You'll act like you're fogging that mirror.
So let's do it.
Inhale through your nose,
Mouth closed.
On an exhale,
Keep the mouth closed,
Fog up the mirror,
Constrict the throat.
Again,
Inhale,
Sounds like waves forming against the shore.
Exhale,
Constrict the throat,
Sounds like waves crashing against the shore.
Keep that steady breath.
Ujjayi Pranayama breath,
Victorious breath,
Or Darth Vader breath.
You sound like Darth Vader.
So keep that breath going.
Drava mask says,
Huawei flies high onto the floor.
And you can release that breath.
You can release that Ujjayi Pranayama and come back to a steady breath for you.
And that Ujjayi Pranayama breath,
You can do that anytime you need it throughout your day.
But now just come back to your natural steady breath.
In and out.
Nice and smooth.
That's right.
And take a scan of your body now.
And just notice your body.
Notice any tension you feel in your body.
Notice the parts of your body that feel good.
And notice the parts in your body that don't feel so good.
And I wonder if you can send a wave of relaxation all throughout your body.
Feeling a wave of relaxation all throughout your body.
And just knowing you're safe,
You're secure,
You're breathing as you listen to the sound of my voice.
And the sound of my voice allows you to sink deeper and deeper,
Relax more and more.
Because you deserve to relax.
You deserve to let go.
Simply easing,
Fading away,
Naturally relaxing more and more.
Each and every breath you take,
You feel a wave of relaxation all the way up and all the way down,
Down,
Down.
In just a moment,
I wonder if you can imagine the coldest feeling you felt.
And that coldest feeling you felt,
Wrap it around your head.
The coldest feeling you felt.
Maybe you feel ice around your head.
Feel a cold feeling around your head,
Wrapped around your head.
And as you feel this cold feeling in your entire head,
Your hands start to get warm.
Your hands start to get warmer and warmer,
Like you're putting your hands next to a fire.
And you feel your hands so warm,
Warmer and warmer as your hands are getting warmer and warmer.
Your head is getting colder and colder.
Your head is getting colder and colder.
Each and every breath you take,
Your head is getting colder and your hands are getting warmer.
Your head is getting colder and your hands are getting warmer and warmer.
Head colder and colder.
Hands warmer and warmer.
That's right.
And the more your head gets cold,
The more your hands get warm.
Head gets cold,
Hands get warm and feel these sensations in your body.
Feel this cold temperature in your head and your hands warmer and warmer.
Warmer and warmer.
Colder and colder.
Deeper and deeper and deeper still.
And you soon start to realize your withdrawals are easing away,
Are fading away as your head is getting colder and colder and colder.
And your hands are getting warmer and warmer and warmer.
That's right.
And allow this temperature to release and feel a wave of cool temperature running all throughout your body.
The perfect temperature all throughout your body.
All the way up and all the way down.
Imagining a time you felt the most perfect temperature.
Maybe you were on a beach or maybe you were in the woods.
Feel this nice cool temperature all throughout your body.
You may feel a breeze on your body.
A perfect temperature for you.
All the way up and all the way down.
Down,
Down.
And in just a moment I wonder if you can notice a spot in your body where you feel some pressure,
Where you feel some tension.
Maybe it's some stuck energy or maybe it's a situation you'd like to release.
Or maybe you still feel a little bit of the withdrawals and that's okay.
I wonder if you can pinpoint the exact location in your body where you feel this stuck energy,
Where you feel the withdrawal,
Where you feel this pain.
Where in your body do you feel this energy?
Once you pinpoint it,
Once you know exactly where it is,
You may start to see a color.
And it can be any color,
Multiple colors.
Maybe you don't see a color at all and that's okay.
But stay with the feeling,
Stay with the sensation.
And if you were to see a color,
What color would it be?
Pinpoint it,
Locate it.
Where in your body do you feel this energy?
Once you know exactly where it is,
Pull this color out.
In your mind's eye or physically with your hands,
Pull this color out.
Pull this energy out of your body,
This stuck energy,
This withdrawal feeling,
This pain.
Pull it out of your body and shape it into a ball out in front of you.
Pull this energy,
This color.
Sometimes the color changes as you pull it out.
Pull this color out,
Shape it into a ball out in front of you.
Pull it all out.
Make sure you get it all out,
Shape it into a ball out in front of you.
Once you have this ball,
This color,
This energy out in front of you,
Notice which direction this ball is spinning.
There's a certain direction,
There's a certain rotation this ball is spinning,
This energy is spinning.
Which way is it spinning?
Now spin it the opposite direction.
Spin it the opposite direction,
Transforming this energy,
Spinning it the opposite direction more and more and more,
10 times faster.
Keep spinning this ball.
Spin this ball,
Spin this energy more and more,
Faster,
Faster,
10 times more,
100 times more.
Keep spinning it and spinning it and spinning it,
Keep spinning it more and more and more until you know that this energy,
This withdrawal,
This pain is transformed.
Keep spinning it and spinning it until you know it's transformed.
And once you know it's transformed,
You feel heat on your back.
You feel heat on your back and as you turn around,
You see a great warm fire,
An abundant fire,
A warm fire.
And toss this ball,
This energy,
This withdrawal into the fire.
Once you toss it into the fire,
It starts to dissolve.
It starts to disintegrate.
It starts to go up in the snow.
Your withdrawal,
This energy,
This pain starts to disintegrate.
It starts to dissolve in the fire.
And you soon start to realize your body feels more at ease,
More at peace.
Some people feel they can breathe easier,
But test it.
Try to bring that ball out of the fire back.
Try to bring that energy back,
But you realize you just can't because you transformed this energy.
You threw it into the fire.
It's dissolved.
It's gone.
And you can't bring it back.
And you feel so at ease,
So at peace as you breathe and listen to the sound of my voice.
Feel the sensations in your body.
Feel the release.
Feel the serenity.
Feel the peace.
And as you feel the sensations in your body,
As you feel this rest,
As you feel this peace,
As you feel this ease,
This freedom,
Saying this affirmation silently,
If you like.
One breath at a time.
One second at a time.
One minute at a time.
One hour at a time.
One day at a time.
One breath at a time.
One second at a time.
One minute at a time.
One hour at a time.
One day at a time.
One breath at a time.
One second at a time.
One minute at a time.
One hour at a time.
One day at a time.
One breath at a time.
One second at a time.

Allow this affirmation to sink deep into your heart space,
Knowing you can come back to it at any time.
This affirmation sinks deep into your heart space like you're planting a seed,
Like you're downloading an app on your phone.
This affirmation sinks deep,
And it runs in the background in your unconscious mind.
And whenever you need this affirmation,
It'll come.
This affirmation will come to you because it's running in the background in your unconscious mind.
One breath at a time.
One second at a time.
One minute at a time.
One hour at a time.
One day at a time.
And you can remain here as long as you like.
You can do this meditation as many times as you need to throughout the day.
Taking it one breath at a time.
