Welcome to your grounding meditation.
Find a comfortable seated position or lie down.
I invite you to close your eyes or let them rest gently.
You are safe.
Bring awareness to your spine as you either sit up with a long spine or ground every vertebrae as you lay.
Notice your breath and your lungs seamlessly expanding with each inhale and exhale.
You are safe.
You are alive.
Take three deep breaths allowing a sigh at each exhale.
Inhale.
Feel the weight of your body at each contact point.
The weight of your ankles,
The weight of your knees,
Your hips,
Your wrists.
Relax deeper into your jaw.
Relax deeper into your shoulders.
Draw them away from your ears.
Relax deeper into your glutes.
Take an expansive breath.
Find stillness throughout your entire body.
I am safe.
I am alive.
I am present.
Use these statements as an anchor to the now.
Envision a healing light shooting out through your tailbone,
Your root chakra,
And anchoring into your space.
Ask yourself,
What color is this light?
How expansive is this light?
Is it bright?
Is it dim?
Does it vibrate?
As you envision these things,
Repeat to yourself,
I am safe.
I am alive.
I am present.
I am safe.
I am alive.
I am present.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
Release out through your mouth.
Stay for as long as you need to.
When you feel ready,
Blink your eyes open.
