Breathing in,

Feel your chest expand.

Breathing out,

Let your shoulders relax.

Let your jaws unclench and let your face soften.

Breathing in,

Allow your heart space to open.

Breathing out,

Let go of the tensions you are carrying.

Breathing in,

Let this moment bless you with a fresh air and firm ground supporting you in this moment.

Breathing out,

Let this moment help you release all that no longer serves you.

Let it remind you that you are already free.

In this moment,

As you pause between your triggered emotions and your reaction,

Let this space grow.

Let it bring the extreme sensations you are feeling back into balance.

Let it remind you that it is always possible to stop,

To take in the moment,

To see it clearly,

And then to respond wisely.

Sometimes,

The wise response is to speak your truth firmly yet kindly.

Sometimes,

The wise response is to walk away gracefully,

Allowing physical space to heal you and the situation.

And sometimes,

The wise response is simply to be still wherever you are and to let things fall into place.

Though the answers and solutions,

And even the love,

May seem unclear right now,

Know that you have the power within to always respond with wisdom,

Love,

And compassion.

It is safe to feel your anger.

It makes you human and there is nothing wrong with it.

But do not let it use your words,

Thoughts,

And actions to bring harm to yourself and others.

Instead,

Let it teach you where you need to be healed and cared for.

And let yourself know that just a pause to breathe and be still,

Even for just a while,

Can bring you the clarity and the break that you need to come back to your true self and respond to this moment with love.
