This meditation is a way to bring harmony back into your relationships - whether it be with a version of yourself — in the past, present, or future. It could be with a loved one or even a difficult person in your life. You can use this to strengthen your connections, nurture forgiveness and understanding, and bring the focus back to love and peace.

This meditation is a way to bring harmony back into your relationships,

Whether it be with a version of yourself in the past,

Present,

Or future,

Or it could be with a loved one,

Or even a difficult person in your life.

You can use this to strengthen your connections,

Nurture forgiveness and understanding,

And bring focus back to love and peace.

Begin by coming into a comfortable seat.

Let the spine rise long and tall,

Easing any heaviness away from the torso and letting the baggage drop down to the earth.

Relax your shoulders,

Unclench your jaws,

Then gently close your eyes.

Take a long and full breath in.

Exhale it all out.

Breathe in.

Let this breath nourish every part of you.

Breathe out.

Imagine as if you are releasing any unpleasant energies from the body.

Inhale,

Welcome this moment in.

Exhale,

You can let go.

You're safe here.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Release,

Relax,

And open yourself up to this present moment.

In the safe and easeful space,

Bring to mind someone with whom you'd like to feel closer and in harmony.

This could be a version of you in the past as a child whom you'd like to heal and understand.

It could be a future you with whom you'd like to feel connected and reassured.

It could be someone you're currently in conflict with or someone with whom you've parted ways in anger or pain.

And imagine this person right in front of you.

Take some time to feel comfortable in his or her presence.

If there is any resistance within your body,

Breathe through it until you feel more calm.

And smile.

If there is anything you'd like to say to this person,

You can say it now.

Know that this is a safe space between the two of you.

And if he or she responds,

Listen without judgment.

If this person in front of you seems agitated or unwilling to participate in this harmonizing experience,

Respect it.

If this person is not in the right place,

Listen without judgment.

If this person in front of you seems agitated or unwilling to participate in this harmonizing experience,

Respect it and gently end the meditation.

Likewise,

If you feel uncomfortable,

Acknowledge it with grace and dignity.

You can always pick up this practice at a later time when you are both ready.

Part of the practice of cultivating harmony in your relationships is honoring the emotions of the present moment without judgment or prejudice.

Let go of the need to force things to go your way and instead lie back and let this wonderful and natural rhythm of life unfold for you.

If this moment feels good,

Then you can continue with a meditation.

Begin to imagine a bright light surrounding you,

Dissolving any shadows or tensions between you and your person and clearing out space between you.

In this space,

Envision a glowing golden string surrounding you in an eternity symbol or a figure eight.

It wraps around you and your person at the level of your hearts,

Gently and lovingly.

This golden string starts to move and revolve around the two of you,

Jumpstarting any stagnant energies and raising your vibrations to the level of joy,

Union,

And harmony.

The string begins to move faster,

Undoing any knots or blocks between you and the other person.

It is clearing out any dissonance,

Any misunderstandings or mistrust,

Any painful emotions,

Releasing them into the void and infusing your relationship with light,

Love,

And harmony.

Breathe and allow yourself to bask in this moment.

You may even begin to hear music at this time.

Breathe and allow yourself to breathe.

And allow yourself to bask in this moment.

You may even begin to hear music at this time.

And just know that this is the music of both your hearts in sync.

As the movement of the string begins to slow down,

Take a deep breath in and smile once more.

Send a message of gratitude to the person in front of you.

The golden string begins to dissipate,

And once more,

You are both surrounded by this beautiful,

White,

And purifying light.

Take a deep breath in and exhale.

Come back to your physical body and blink your eyes open.

Know that any pain,

Confusion,

And doubt can be healed with deep love and compassion.
