So let's find a place for the body.
Having that little fidget.
We find somewhere we can become still.
Lengthening,
Straightening the spine with the inhale,
Softening with the exhale.
And finding that balance between the two.
And then let's find the breath.
And then bite the breath in deeper and slower.
Making our breath conscious.
And kind of using the breath.
As a path into our.
.
.
Relaxed internal world.
You See if you can keep your awareness with the breath.
As best you can.
And we'll take a breathing practice.
Help us stay with that focus on the breath a little more easily.
On the tailbone,
Inhale to the crown.
From the crown,
Exhale to the tailbone.
And let's allow it to be effortless.
Rolling up and down the spine,
That lengthening of the breath.
Walking our mind into a calmer,
Quieter state.
And as we start our practice,
Where in the external world.
All the busyness,
All the drama.
All our conditioning.
All our habits.
May not be so healthy.
Let's visualize these few moments like a path.
Into the woods,
Out of the town into the woods.
Long smooth breaths,
Everything becoming calmer,
Quieter.
Feeling a little more comfortable.
Little bit slower,
Less hurried.
Starting to switch on our senses to here.
The birds.
The breeze and the leaves.
And in the center of the woods.
There is a stream.
And at one particular point in the woods,
The stream has created a little waterfall and cut away part of the.
.
.
The soil so that there is quite place we can step down some steps.
Where the water trickles.
And all is peaceful.
And there's a rock to sit on.
And here.
We become ourselves.
As the movement of the living water.
And stillness.
And in the stillness.
We can hear the still,
Small voice inside.
It gets drowned out in the town.
Listen.
Bye.
Listen to your heart Without disturbing yourself,
I invite you to place your hand on your heart.
A breath with the heart.
If we were to define who we are in the town.
We might think about.
Where we live,
Our name,
Our age,
An occupation.
And physical body.
But here.
In this peaceful space.
In the silence of our heart.
Our definition would be very different.
And if I may,
I'd like to start you off with a few affirmations.
A few I am statements.
And then I'll turn it over to you and in the silence of your own mind.
Declare what it is that you feel.
And if maybe you come up with a little waver of doubt.
That you're not quite there.
Would like to be.
Than it's I am becoming.
Whatever it is you affirm it must be true for you.
But we can still be facing in the right direction and say we are becoming.
These things.
So in my very center.
I am the light.
And take a deep breath out.
I am a spark of the living life force energy that existed before this physical cosmos came into being.
Breathe it in.
I am peace.
Spacious.
Peace.
I am a vital part of all that is.
Small part that the jigsaw would be incomplete without you.
Take a breath.
With that.
The love that I am.
Radiating out into the world.
And this It's all I need to do sometimes.
I am a now.
Just as I am.
I am becoming sovereign.
I am becoming a being.
Provides for myself.
Through my connection to the divine.
Because I'm a child.
Of the divine.
And cannot be separate from it.
Except by my own doing.
And I release that now And when I recognize my oneness with all that is.
I am provided for.
And I need not strain or struggle.
Or hurt myself.
To provide for myself and those I love.
And now it's your turn Let's spend a few moments.
Defining.
Aloha.
Our core.
I was sent to.
And if this beautiful light,
Love and truth that you choose yourself to be is not yet present in your external world.
It will be.
Because the energy comes first.
The intention,
The focus.
Your awareness of yourself as the light,
The love and the truth comes first.
Radiates out from your heart and cannot help but change your external world.
We are the creators of that world after all.
And sometimes the painful stuff keeps rolling in for a while.
Like ripples from pebbles we dropped many years ago.
Keep focused.
On what you know to be true in your heart.
Redirect yourself back there often.
I'm sorry.
It's time to leave this place You can come back whenever you like.
So putting our feet upon the path.
From the stillness of our heart climbing back into our internal world.
Into the woods.
With the physical senses.
The birdsong.
The scent.
And our physical body.
Gradually returning movement into the body.
I'm beginning to stretch,
Move.
And then we leave the woods.
And come back into the town.
The external world is all still there.
Let's have a look at it.
Thank you for practicing with me.
