This guided meditation for clarity helps you clear the mists that may be blocking your own deep wisdom. Once you've cleared the mists of hurt feelings, resentments, self-judgments, or dishonesties, you can open space for, and trust your own knowing. Then spend two quiet minutes setting your intention for making decisions that lead to positive outcomes.

With eyes closed and in a place where you can fully relax,

Take a deep breath in,

And breathe out slowly.

Once more,

Breathe in,

And breathe out.

Imagine you are standing on the porch of a log cabin overlooking a peaceful mountain range.

It's just before sunrise,

But it's light enough to see wisps of mist lingering amongst the valleys.

While this scene can be very appealing,

These wisps of mist can represent the haze that sometimes clouds our vision and blocks us from seeing the things we need to see.

From hearing the things we need to hear.

Whether hurt feelings,

Resentments,

Self-judgments,

Or dishonesties,

Wherever those wisps of mist may linger,

You can clear them and access your own deep wisdom.

Settle into your visualization of the misty mountain view.

As you wait for sunrise,

Leaning on the supportive railing,

Feel a cool breeze blow in from the valley.

Hear the distant soft song of a morning dove awakening from her slumber.

Now imagine a tiny glint of sun shining through the clouds just above the mountaintop.

As the sun climbs a bit higher,

The warmth of its rays begins to dissipate the mist,

And the clouds begin to break,

Signaling that it's time to begin clearing your own mists as well.

As the sun's rays begin to warm your face,

Begin to feel a sense of clarity arise in your forehead,

Moving into your eyes and cheeks.

Visualize any mists lingering here begin to dissipate.

Allow clarity to arise from within your mouth and across your ears.

Allow all aspects of your head to experience clarity.

Now feel the warmth of the sun begin to clear any misty clouds in your neck and shoulders.

Feel the warmth of the sun travel from your shoulders,

Down your arms,

To the elbows,

Forearms,

Wrists,

Hands,

And fingers.

Your arms and hands are now clear.

Mists can linger in the chest and gut,

So feel the sun's warmth bring clarity into your chest and upper back,

And throughout your core and hips.

Now feel warmth and clarity move into your thighs,

And down through your knees,

Calves,

Ankles,

Feet,

And toes.

Breathe in deeply as all aspects of your body have been cleared by the warmth of the sun,

From the top of your head all the way to the soles of your feet.

In this state of clarity,

You can now access your own deep wisdom.

Open space for and trust your own knowing as it is supported by guidance from the universe.

Your ancestors.

And your own values.

What can you see now that you couldn't see before?

What can you hear now that you couldn't hear before?

What will you choose to do differently today to create more positive outcomes in your life?

Who will you connect with in a new,

Positive way?

Spend a little while now focusing on how you will use your restored clarity for positive decision-making today.

You may want to return to this practice again to clear your mists.

But for now,

Begin to stretch your body,

Open your eyes,

And greet this day with clarity and positive intentions.
