Hello and welcome to breathwork for inner peace.
This will be a down regulating practice,
Meaning we are going to calm the body and bring peace to the mind.
We're going to inhale for a count of four into the nose,
Exhale through the mouth for a count of eight.
Just like that.
Inhale for four,
Exhale for eight.
When you exhale out of the mouth,
Pretend like you're blowing through a straw.
You don't have to purse your lips super aggressively,
But you're not just opening your mouth and letting out a sigh.
You do want it to be somewhat concentrated.
So again,
It's into the nose,
Count of four,
Out of the mouth,
Count of eight,
And we'll continue on a continuous loop for a few minutes together.
Go ahead and get comfortable.
You can lay down or sit in a comfortable chair,
But allow yourself to surrender.
Allow yourself to release your body and any tension you notice in your body.
Notice how it feels to breathe into the body today without judging where you're at or what you're going through.
Simply notice how it shows up in the body.
And then we will begin the active breath by first clearing out the lungs and then inhale through the nose,
Exhale mouth,
Inhale nose,
Exhale mouth,
Inhale nose,
Exhale.
Keep moving the breath on your own count.
Think about swelling the belly on the inhale,
Slowly trickling out the breath on the exhale.
You're doing great.
Let's do five more rounds together.
Inhaling,
Last exhale,
Seal the lips,
Breathe in and out of the nose,
Noticing how you feel in your body.
Now take this inner peace into your day,
Into your decision making,
And to how you relate to others.
Bring more peace,
More love and more awareness into this earth,
Simply from being.
Namaste.
Thank you for joining and I'll see you next time.
