Alternate Nostril Breathing for Balance, Mental Clarity and stress relief. Your breath naturally alternates the dominant nostril every two hours, with this practice known as Nadi Shodhana you re-establish the harmony with your breath by inhaling and exhaling alternating each nostril, each time.

Alternate nostril breathing.

Make your way to a comfortable seated position.

For alternate nostril breathing you'll use your right thumb and right ring finger.

If you're in a public place do so discreetly.

Guide your right thumb to close your right nostril.

Inhale through your left nostril for four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Close your left nostril with your right ring finger.

Exhale through your right nostril for three,

Two,

One.

Inhale right for three,

Two,

One.

Close the right.

Exhale left for three,

Two,

One.

Inhale left for three,

Two,

One.

Exhale right for three,

Two,

One.

Inhale right for three,

Two,

One.

Exhale left for three,

Two,

One.

Inhale left for three,

Two,

One.

Exhale right for three,

Continue.
