Welcome,
Take this moment for yourself,
There's no need to fix anything,
There's no need to chase calm,
Just sit and let the unwinding begin.
So close your eyes if you wish and notice the space between your thoughts.
A soft silence behind your breath,
And that's where we'll go.
And now imagine that just above the top of your head is an invisible gentle hand,
It's holding a delicate golden thread.
This thread runs all the way down from your crown through your spine,
Weaving in and out of the tension stored in your body.
Each knot of stress is simply a twist in this thread.
So take a breath in,
And see the thread glow faintly,
And breathe out,
And the invisible hand begins to turn,
Unwinding the thread,
One slow spiral at a time.
So feel it now,
A gentle loosening at the base of your neck,
As if something is untying an invisible knot.
So breathe in,
And breathe out.
Let the unwinding continue,
Down between your shoulder blades,
Where the weight you didn't know you were carrying,
Begins to fall away.
It's not being pushed out,
It's being unspooled,
Like a core that no longer needs to hold tension.
And now,
Bring your awareness to your jaw,
And imagine the thread gently brushing past it,
Stroking the muscle like water,
Until it softens,
And your face releases.
And with every breath,
This golden thread descends,
Spiraling through your heart space,
Spinning out anything that doesn't need to be carried.
There's nothing for you to do,
Except allow the unspooling.
So inhale,
And receive the softness,
And exhale,
Releasing the tightness.
You may feel warm,
You may feel lightness,
Or you may feel nothing,
All of them are perfect.
So now,
Let's complete the release.
So visualize the last of the thread reaching the soles of your feet,
Spinning gently at your toes,
And then dropping away into the earth,
Where all tension becomes compost.
There's no fight,
There's no force,
Only surrender.
So breathe in,
And feel the space where the thread once was,
The hollow,
The openness,
And then breathe out,
And allow it to remain empty,
There is no rush to fill it.
It's good to be light,
So stay here for a moment longer,
Let your body remember what this feels like,
Stillness,
Relief,
And room to be.
So when you're ready,
You can gently open your eyes now,
Or remain here,
Unwound and free.
Namaste.
