Welcome,
And close your eyes now.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
And then exhale softly through your mouth.
Feel your shoulders loosen just a little.
Feel the space behind your eyes begin to widen.
You've been holding yourself together for so long.
This is your moment to let go,
Even if it's just for a while.
You don't have to fix yourself in this meditation.
You don't have to try to be anything else.
You're already enough to begin with.
And now bring your attention to the area around your heart.
Notice how it feels.
Is it tight,
Numb,
Or even tired?
Whatever you find is welcome.
With each breath,
Imagine a soft pink gold light glowing at the center of your chest.
Each inhale feeds that light,
And each exhale lets it spread.
So see this warmth drift upward into your throat,
Down through your belly,
Filling every corner of your body with gentleness.
Now imagine that this light has a voice.
It's your own higher voice,
And it says you're doing your best,
And that's enough.
So let that phrase echo quietly inside you.
I'm doing my best,
And it's enough.
Each breath brings you deeper into that truth.
With every exhale,
Release the old stories,
The ones that said you had to earn love.
You don't have to be perfect to be worthy.
You only have to be present.
And now imagine you're sitting across from your younger self,
One who tries so hard to please everyone,
And then look at them through the eyes of compassion,
And say softly,
You don't have to try anymore,
I've got you now.
And then watch them smile,
They've been waiting for that for a long time.
Now bring your attention back to the breath.
Feel the body heavier now,
Even grounded.
And then notice how the heart feels,
Lighter,
Warmer,
And even freer.
You are not your mistakes.
You're the space that forgives them.
You are the awareness that keeps choosing to love again.
So take one last deep breath in,
And let it out slowly like a quiet promise to yourself.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes now.
Carry this softness into your day,
Because the world needs people who've learned how to be kind to themselves.
Good work today,
And namaste.
