You are worthy.

You are enough.

You are wholly beautiful.

I see you.

You are driven.

You are loving.

You are compassionate.

You empathize with others.

You feel what they feel.

And you hold it in your heart tenderly.

For the most part,

You feel pretty good about yourself.

You even celebrate the little wins.

You reward yourself with activities you enjoy.

Or a fancy latte from the coffee shop down the street.

You feel like a good and deserving person until that inner critic starts speaking to you.

Saying words you have heard her say so many times.

I'm not worthy.

I'm not blank enough.

Pretty enough.

Skinny enough.

Fit enough.

Confident enough.

Loving enough.

Grateful enough.

That voice shows up in times when you least expect it.

When you're feeling good and your mind is carefree.

You're feeling content.

Then suddenly next thing you know you're comparing yourself to others and your brain is saying things that you would never repeat to someone else.

But here you are listening to it,

Believing it,

And even leaning into it.

You're mentally drained,

Physically fatigued,

And emotionally raw.

Your soul aches for something pure and kind.

But that anxious feeling in your gut and that tightness in your chest tells you to keep going because you aren't quite making the cut.

You aren't doing enough and you'll never live up to expectations.

Deep in the pit of your stomach you want more and you know it's there if only you could reach it.

True love,

Financial freedom,

Success,

The perfect body.

The judgment continues to creep in little by little and you become an overachiever,

A people pleaser.

Doing everything in your power to prove that voice wrong.

I see you.

So the intention of this meditation is to remind you that there is nothing for you to prove.

That you are enough.

Not when you lose weight,

Not when you become successful,

Not when you have the perfect love in your life,

Not when your kids are behaved,

Not when you get that promotion.

Now,

Just as you are,

You are enough.

So I invite you to take the first deep cleansing breath in,

Filling your lungs,

Your belly,

And your entire body with new life-giving air.

Take a long breath out.

Take another deep breath in and when you get to the top of your inhale hold it.

And then release.

Last deep breath in,

Putting all your attention on that life that is flowing throughout your body.

Holding for three seconds at the top and then slowly and with intention breathing out.

Now begin to breathe normally.

Sit in stillness and ease for this self-love meditation.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Now as you sit here focusing your attention on your breath,

Imagine that every breath you take in,

You breathe in a bright yellow light.

It enters into the body filling you with warmth.

Breathe in.

See it entering the body and filling your lungs,

First illuminating your heart space and breathe out.

Breathing on your own rhythm with each inhale,

Imagine this golden light spreading further and further throughout the body.

Breathe in this glorious golden light,

Feeling its warmth and energy,

Filling you up and spreading.

Hold for a few seconds.

Breathing in,

Calming,

Illuminating,

Centering.

Now allow this light to fill in any crevices of negativity,

Exposing any small thought of criticism or self-loathing.

Perhaps on parts of your body or pieces of your personality or memories of past choices.

Allow the golden light to fill them.

On the next inhale,

Allow that light to heal,

To silence the small voices living in those crevices,

To repair and restore your thoughts.

You are worthy.

You are enough.

You are made in His image,

A perfectly imperfect creation meant to be right here,

Right now.

And you are wholly beautiful.

Take one last deep breath in and a long intentional breath out.

Begin to flutter up in the eyes with newly found self-love.
