In this meditation,
We're going to focus on one specific instance of healing your heart.
If you try to heal every heartbreak,
Every betrayal,
Every grief all at once,
You'll end up overwhelmed and uncomfortable with the intensity.
Use one thing you know you need to heal from,
Whether it's recent or from the distant past,
And make that your focus today.
Begin by finding a comfortable position and closing your eyes.
Take a few deep,
Cleansing breaths.
Take another deep breath and let it out slowly.
Allow your body to relax.
Allow your mind to relax.
Bring your attention to your heart.
Allow yourself to feel the emotions associated with what you've chosen for healing today.
Allow these feelings to rise and release them.
Feel the emotions associated with what you've chosen for healing today.
Allow yourself to feel the emotions associated with what you've chosen for healing today.
Visualize a soft,
White spark of light in the center of your heart.
As the feelings associated with your heartache surface and are released,
Visualize that spark of light growing brighter and bigger.
With this light comes a feeling of love.
If you feel overwhelmed by the feelings that arise,
Remember to breathe through them as you let them come up and then let them go.
As more feelings come up and you let them go,
The love and white light continue to grow.
You begin to feel peace and love wash over your entire body,
Beginning in the heart and body.
Place your hands over your heart.
Repeat the following affirmations.
I am releasing the past and embracing the present.
I am letting go of past pain,
Regret,
And anger.
All of me is healing now.
Love is healing me.
Feel these affirmations settle into your heart.
Slowly return your attention to the room you're in.
When you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Wiggle your fingers and toes and stretch your arms and legs.
You can return to this meditation as often as you need to,
To complete your healing process.
