Welcome to the bee's breath.
What we're going to be doing with this is through the exhalation,
We're going to be making the sound of a B.
It's like a sound,
Like an M.
So it sounds like this.
So that exhale,
We're not doing that with the inhale.
Just on the exhale,
Make that sound for as long as you possibly can.
On the inhale,
Just breathe naturally.
Once again,
Through the nose,
Diaphragm engages.
Feel that swelling of the torso.
The other thing I want to introduce you to is a very nice way to use the hands here,
That we close off the eyes and we close off the ears to external sounds.
And we just kind of feel this,
That these breath,
That vibration in the skull.
So we're going to take the first finger at the eyebrows.
The middle finger closes the eyelids.
So like on the eyelashes and closes them.
The thumb goes into the ear,
So we're trying to close off external sounds around us.
The third finger goes like on the mustache area and the pinkies around the sides of the mouth.
The point of that is that you want to close off external sounds around you.
So all you're hearing is on your exhale is that vibration of the bee's breath.
So we're just going to do this for a couple minutes.
Once again,
You're obviously not going to be able to hear me super well because you're closing your ears.
So we're going to set up and then we're just going to do about four or five of these breaths just so you get the experience and the feel and the sound of it.
So first finger on the eyebrows.
Middle finger,
Close off this.
Eyes by putting your clothes in the eyelids third fingers by the mustache area,
Upper lip.
Pinkies or kind of some people put it as sides of mouth some people just let it float it's not important with the pinkies Close off the ears with the thumbs.
So you take a general inhale.
And top of the inhale,
B sound,
The M.
Take a normal inhale.
And go Just do this for about five.
Breaths or so Mmm.
Mmm.
Mmm.
Mmm.
Let's do one more.
Om.
And you could open your eyes and take your thumbs out of your ears and drop the hands down above your knees.
So one interesting.
.
.
Tip i'd like to give you is uh people say oh i kind of like that but obviously i'm pretty self-conscious i'm not going to do that in a public place so what do you do if you're in a public place and you really like that sound One is you don't need to use your hands.
I would recommend doing that if you're at home or say in some place in nature with no one else around.
But if other people are around and you want to work with the bee's breath,
You obviously look a little silly,
Right,
With your hands up in that position.
Keep your hands down.
The other thing is you can use that sound and be,
As they say,
Subaudible.
Or almost like only you hear it.
No one else could hear it.
So it would be like this.
So I don't know if you heard that at all.
I heard that.
So you can play with the volume depending on if you're by yourself or around others,
Depending on what you're looking for.
The louder it is,
You're going to get one experience with it.
The quieter it is,
You get a different experience.
So there's different ways to use that,
Whether you're in a public or in a private situation.
Thanks.
