Great Spirit: Prayer For Creativity

This prayer is for moments when you begin to doubt yourself inside of your creativity and your dreams. When the voice of fear, comparison or judgment rises to the surface let this prayer interrupt those thoughts and inspire within you the courage to keep going. To practice loving the parts of you that are afraid so that you may keep dreaming.

Great Spirit,

I find within myself a holy longing,

A great desire,

And a dream.

Woven in through my excitement,

Creativity,

And hope,

I find myself experiencing fear,

Comparison,

And the voice of judgment.

A voice that aches to keep me small and unseen so that I may not get hurt by the world outside of me.

Give me the strength to face this fear,

To step into myself fully,

To follow my heart,

To have the courage to try,

The courage to dream,

The courage to let go of the outcome so that I may be here,

Present in this moment,

Doing what I love.

Help me access that deep knowing that I am worthy of pursuing my dreams.

Help me access my intent and become so resolved in who I am and what I desire to create that no one,

Nothing,

Can shake me off of my foundation.

Help me stay present in every moment,

And when the voice that says stop,

Or no,

Or it isn't good enough,

Rises to the surface,

Give me the courage to love that part of me,

To tell it we are safe,

To remind it that we are dreamers,

And we will keep going.

We will keep dreaming.
