Hello and thank you for joining me in this meditative practice.
This practice focuses on loving oneself.
Practicing self-love,
Acknowledging and respecting the unique path you've traveled in this life.
There will be a chime at the start and one at the finish.
Choose an area that provides you with comfort and privacy.
Take in a few slow breaths,
Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Breathing in love for yourself and letting go of anything that has caused you to feel that you are not good enough.
Repeat this a few times on your own.
Now close or lower your eyes,
Feeling your body begin to relax and unwind.
You might sense your mind drifting or emotions bubbling up.
This is perfectly normal and if this happens simply focus your attention on your breath,
Sound or body sensations to anchor yourself again.
Bring your attention to the space right in the middle of your brows.
This is where your mind's eye is located.
Imagine a stunning butterfly.
The colors yellow,
Green and purple flash over its wings as it flies around and eventually lands on the rim of a cup that is sitting on the table right in front of you.
This butterfly,
Like you,
Is beautiful in every way.
It has been on this incredible journey and has gone through remarkable transformations to arrive here and be with you.
You also have gone through so much,
Sometimes pushing through fear and self-judgment to be here with the butterfly.
You too,
Like this butterfly,
Have wings.
They just may be trapped or bent but they are still present.
And now is the time to liberate your lovely soul from the words and thoughts of self-doubt that have imprisoned it for too long.
This is the beginning of a new chapter in which you will learn to spread your wings emerging from the cocoon.
You are brave and so deserving.
Repeat these words to yourself or out loud.
I am letting go of the past for it does not define me and it is not who I am.
I have value.
I deserve to be happy.
I am what I am and what I am is good.
I am proud of the person I am becoming.
I am love and I am lovable.
Take a breath in and breathe out.
Breathe in again with the words I choose to be gentle with myself and breathe out with the words I am letting go of all my worries and negative thoughts.
Breathe in.

It is time for your butterfly to leave.
Watch as it lifts up from the cup and takes flight,
Knowing that you can summon it back any time at any moment.
If your eyes were closed,
Now is the time to open them,
Bringing yourself back to your surroundings.
And thank yourself for taking the time for you.
