Hello,
My name is Viola,
And I wrote this poem especially for all of you.
This poem was laid on my heart yesterday.
It was four years since my brother has passed and it was his birthday.
So that's where this poem came from and I wanted to share it with all of you.
Sit with us.
When we lose someone,
They say time will heal.
They say they are in heaven for God has called them home.
We say we are their home.
We miss the voice,
The touch,
And are sad,
Cause we hurt so much.
Let us mourn,
For they are ours and we are theirs.
In this tree of life,
Where our roots are birthed,
No words are needed.
Send us life,
And sit with us as we move through the grieving,
Which may go on and on and on and may never be fully done.
