As you begin this new day,

Take a moment to simply notice that you are here.

There's no need to be anywhere else or to feel any particular way.

Just let yourself arrive exactly as you are.

If it feels comfortable for you,

You can close your eyes or gently lower your gaze.

If not,

Simply soften your attention on something around you.

Allowing yourself the choice to choose what feels best right now.

Now bring the awareness to the place your body meets support.

Whether it's the bed,

The chair,

The floor beneath your feet.

Let yourself feel held by gravity,

By the quiet stability of the earth beneath you.

Take a slow,

Steady breath in through your nose and exhale gently through your mouth.

As you breathe,

You can move at your own rhythm.

No rush,

No right or wrong way to breathe.

As the body begins to weigh,

Notice what sensations are present.

Warmth,

Coolness,

Tension or ease.

You don't need to fix or to judge anything.

Just simply observe.

If you'd like,

You can place a hand over your heart or your belly.

Feeling the soft rise and fall beneath your touch.

As you breathe,

Gently remind yourself that you are allowed to move through today with ease,

Softness and gentleness.

Maybe it's a calm sensation,

Quiet confidence or a stream of steadiness.

Letting that feeling expand through the body,

From your heart,

To your hands,

To your breath.

Take another deep breath in and you can sigh it out.

You don't have to have it all figured out.

No one does.

You only need to take one gentle step at a time.

As we close,

Take one more deep breath in and a long,

Slow exhale out.

Carry this sense of groundedness with you as you move into your day.

May you walk gently,

Speak kindly to yourself and remember you are safe to begin again.

Take one more deep breath in and a full,

Deep exhale out.

Slowly arriving back into the space,

Taking your time,

No need to rush.

Slowly blinking the eyes open if they were closed.

We have come to the end of this meditation.

I hope it was a good lead-in to your day.

If you are so inclined to,

You can leave a rating and a review and I wish you a great day ahead.
