This is going to be a short and sweet meditation for a busy day ahead.

I know being here right now may not feel easy especially with a million and one things to do and even if it may not seem like it,

You are doing yourself a huge favor just by taking a step back,

Taking the time to slow down.

Wherever you are whether it's seated,

Whether it's standing,

Whether it's lying down,

I encourage you to take a few deep breaths as you tune into your body,

Softening the eyes,

Softening the gaze.

On the inhale feel your lungs expand,

Feel them taking in the outside air and on your exhale take it like a sigh of relief almost like you're blowing out a balloon.

Continue with these rounds of breaths,

Long rounds of breaths.

Notice how it makes you feel,

Notice how your body feels,

Notice how your mind feels.

Start to bring awareness to the body,

Any parts,

Any areas you're feeling resistance,

Tension,

Tightness or gripping.

Allow the muscles to slowly unclench,

Allow the muscles to unravel and in this process you allow your body to ease and relax.

During busy periods it's easy to clench and to grip and to bring tension into our body.

I encourage you to remember this feeling,

This lightness and know that just a few rounds of breath can bring you back to a nice and peaceful state.

We have come to the end of the meditation,

I encourage you to come back to this practice whenever you need.
