Hello and welcome my friends. Today we're going to talk about that new moon in Taurus that's coming up. This new moon in Taurus is a truly special time for setting intentions. And of course, I am reading from Moonology by Yasmin Boland, And she says, Traditionally, This moon aligns with the fixed star Algol. And Algol has a bit of a scary reputation, But it's time to see that for what it is, A patriarchal retelling of an ancient tale. In fact, This star represents the fierce strength and resilience of the divine feminine, And the strength in women everywhere. Algol is connected to goddess energy, Particularly in her most protective and empowering forms, Including the goddess Saraswati, Keeper of divine feminine wisdom. So how can we tap into this fierce goddess energy? Surely there's nothing more powerful than the human ability to create, Be it art, A child, Or anything else. So what are you currently creating? This new moon is also about embracing your inner strength and using it to plant seeds for what you truly want in life. Taurus, Ruled by Venus, Is all about abundance, Beauty, And stability. As the new moon marks the start of a new cycle, It's the perfect time to focus on manifesting security and comfort, Whether in your finances, Your relationships, Or home. And as most of you know, I am a huge fan of the new moon for manifesting some of the most amazing things that I've manifested in my own life have come through this new moon energy. So Yasmin suggests get clarity on what you want, Step into your power, And send those intentions out into the universe. There's also a beautiful opportunity to heal old wounds now, Especially those related to self-worth and relationships. I love that statement because I feel like that's something I have been working on, Healing old wounds. Self-worth and self-confidence have been a big topic for me and something that I feel I've come a long way. And a lot of that has been thanks to Insight Timer and the confidence I've gained from becoming a teacher, From interacting with other teachers, And from interacting with this community. So all right, She suggests you call in Saraswati. In astrology, Algal is associated with the goddess Medusa, Who in turn is said by many to represent the decapitation of the matriarchy by the patriarchy. Okay, That sounds a little scary, But if we keep going, Medusa's name comes from the Sanskrit medha, Which means sovereign female wisdom, And is another name for the Hindu goddess Saraswati, Who revealed language, Speech, And writing to humans, And who governs science and the arts. So call in Saraswati. I love that whole image about speech and writing, Especially for someone like me, Because obviously I love writing. I love to journal, And I have been working on using my voice. So speech is a big thing, A big theme for me. All right, Friends, So let's do a little journaling. Let's listen to some music, And of course, You know the prompt for the new moon wishes. My current biggest, Most audacious goal, Wish, Or intention is, And you're gonna fill in the blank. So let's dream big. Let's think about those big goals, Audacious goals, And don't be afraid to dream. I have put some audacious goals and dreams on paper, And have manifested them, And I'm happy and grateful to say that I'm living a life of some beautiful manifestations, And I'm wishing the same for you. So let's pause here. Let's listen to Blossom Violet's beautiful piano music, And let's do some journaling.
