Hello and welcome beautiful Insight Timer community.
Today is day 29 of our 30 day journaling challenge.
Very exciting.
Tomorrow is going to be our last day of the challenge and I'm definitely gonna have to find something special for that but in the meantime today I pulled a card from Michael Singer's deck The Untethered Soul and I'm sure some of you have heard of his book The Untethered Soul which is a phenomenal book.
A little deep at times but a really good book.
I loved it and I decided to get this deck when I saw it and I pulled a card at random.
The one I pulled was about living life and it says you should be experiencing the life that's happening to you not the one you wish was happening.
Don't waste a moment of your life trying to make other things happen.
Appreciate the moments you were given.
What a great thought.
I know myself so many times I've been caught up in my head and honestly that really is a waste of time.
There were times I wish things were better.
Now I just I'm grateful for what I have.
I enjoy what I have and I do my best to stay in the present moment and to stop projecting what I wish I had,
What I wish life could be.
I've got a pretty good life right now and I think when you stop to focus on what you have you learn to appreciate those moments even more.
So today I'd like us to journal on what we have,
What we appreciate,
What makes life beautiful and I know that there are times we struggle but let's put that aside for now.
Let's think about those what they call glimmer moments,
Those moments that linger that make life great.
For me it was spending time with my family last weekend.
I'm sure you have moments like that so let's put five minutes on the clock and let's get to journaling.
Alright my friends that was five minutes.
I hope you had a lot to write about.
I hope a lot of the things you appreciate in life came to mind and that you were able to write about them and remember how good it feels to appreciate what we have.
I know there have been moments where I felt a little low and sometimes it's good to go back and read about the things that you're grateful for.
So keep that list handy and if you find yourself having a bad day or a down moment look at that list or think about that list and remember that there's a lot to be grateful for.
Remember the things that make you happy and as always shine bright like a diamond.
