This is Day 19 of our 30 days of journaling. Each day we pull an oracle card and use it as a guide for our journaling time together. I love journaling and try to do it every day! Writing about what I'm feeling is my own "therapy" and has gotten me through the toughest times. It's also a wonderful way to look back and see how far I've come! Join me in this 30-day challenge to journal every day! Make it as long or as brief as you want and don't worry if you must skip a day. Sometimes life gets in the way but commit to doing it as often as possible with me! Thank you for all the feedback and positive comments. This was a longtime dream of mine, and I am so grateful for the encouragement! (I created a playlist under my teacher profile called "Journaling - 30 days" with all the tracks in order.) Hello and welcome beautiful Insight Timer community.

Today we are on day 19 of our 30-day journaling challenge and today I pulled a card from Rebecca Campbell's deck,

The Healing Waters Oracle.

The card I got today was Cosmic Ocean and it stands for current dreams,

Future realities,

And new beginnings.

And in her book she writes,

Water features in the creation stories of countless cultures across the globe,

Perhaps more so than any other natural substance or mystery.

Echoing through these symbolic narratives about the birth of the world is the notion that everything originated from water.

Many creation myths speak of life arising from the primordial waters or the great cosmic ocean.

The Rig Veda,

The oldest Indian sacred text,

States that creation began within the darkness where all was an unrecognizable salty ocean.

And to the ancient Babylonians of Mesopotamia,

In the beginning there was both salty and sweet water which merged to create the gods.

In many creation myths,

Transformation and emergence occur in the places where natural elements overlap.

While Celtic mythology doesn't have a specific creation story,

There is the fable of Ioka,

A white mare born from the foam where the sea met the land before time began.

This card is one of promise,

Hope,

And new beginnings.

What dreams are making their way into your consciousness?

What is it that you've dedicated to creating?

While the manifestation may not be immediate,

Time will bring things to fruition.

Trust in the whispering dreams of your destiny.

Just as the new beginnings of a stream may one day flow into the vast ocean,

Something new is beckoning to be born.

So dare deep and wide.

Dream your future into reality.

And today's prompt is the sole inquiry she has listed here,

Which I love.

What's the biggest dream you have that even you are yet to admit?

What an excellent journaling prompt.

Let's put five minutes on the clock and get to writing.

All right my friends,

That was five minutes.

I hope you had some good thoughts to put in your journal about your dreams.

I definitely did and I'm gonna leave you with a quote that I love by C.

S.

Lewis.

You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.

So think about that and let that carry you through.

And I will see you again tomorrow.

Thank you.

It has been hard to stay with this process. Alot is getting stirred up. Trauma/dreams for health and wellbeing on all levels… it all feels far away and almost like a fantasy instead of reality. I’m going to keep going. I know this all needs to be looked at, but I just wanted to release shame around this struggle and openly acknowledge the pain.
