Hello and welcome beautiful friends.
We're starting a new year and this year we're going to be doing some journaling with the moon cycles.
Particularly the full moon and the new moons.
I've always been a fan of journaling with the moons,
Especially the new moon.
I've often shared during lives how new moon journaling has brought some amazing things into my life.
And as we all know,
New moons are great for manifesting.
Full moons are wonderful for letting go.
So as we start our new year,
We're starting with a full moon in Cancer.
And I decided I would use Yasmin Bolin's moonology.
I know a lot of you are into her moonology.
I've loved her moonology for years.
And I'm very excited to spend this year journaling with you and her and these moon cycles.
This full moon can be expected to be pretty lively thanks to the fact that it's triggering both the planet of action and anger and drive.
Mars and the planet of amplification and good times,
Jupiter.
So you should expect tightened emotions now.
Maybe you're exhausted after all your New Year's celebrations,
Or maybe you're full of excitement for the year ahead.
Either way,
Pace yourself.
The energies at play now could see some people burning the candle at both ends and risk burnout before the year has even started.
One of the things we focus on in moonology is manifesting.
Creating your life the way you want it to be.
Manifesting your dream life,
Making your dreams real.
And as all of you know,
I'm a huge fan of manifesting and scripting.
Make sure you check out my scripting course or my journaling tracks around scripting because those are always a lot of fun and definitely some of my favorites.
But it's super important right now to use the full moon every month to let go of any upsets or doubts.
If you feel your emotions under this charged full moon in cancer,
Release anything you've done wrong,
Or you think you've done wrong I should say,
Or failed to do.
And if you can,
Forgive anyone who has upset you.
Sounds like great advice to me.
And our journaling prompt is what feelings or memories from the past am I ready to gently let go of?
I'm going to give you a couple of alternate prompts as well.
In particular,
What family patterns or dynamics am I ready to heal and release?
This is one I have been working on this year,
So I look forward to writing about this.
How can I nurture my sense of emotional safety and comfort right now?
All great questions.
Keep it simple.
Write as much as you want.
I'm going to play some beautiful background music,
And I'm going to be journaling with you.
So remember our central question.
What feelings or memories from the past am I ready to gently let go of?
And remember the full moon is an awesome time to let go of those things that no longer serve us.
All right my friends,
Let's put some time on the clock.
Let's listen to this beautiful background music,
And let's do some journaling.
As always,
If you need more time to continue journaling,
Feel free to pause and go back,
Play this music again,
Or go to the playlist and find any of the many journaling tracks I've shared.
I loved this question.
I enjoyed writing about this.
It was focusing a lot of family patterns and dynamics that I am definitely ready to heal and release,
And it's been something I've been working on mostly over the past couple of weeks.
So I think this year is going to be a great time to keep working on that,
And I feel like it's going to be a really great year overall.
So please share with me in the comments.
Let me know what you journaled about.
Let me know what you're looking forward to,
And let me know what you were able to release in this full moon in cancer.
All right my friends,
Let's meet back here in a couple of weeks when the new moon starts,
And the new moon,
As I said before,
Is definitely one of my favorite times for journaling.
I look forward to speaking with you then.
Until then,
Keep shining like the beautiful bright diamond that you are.
