Welcome.

This meditation is meant for the uncomfortable in-between phase of growth.

The space where you are no longer who you used to be but not yet fully settled into who you are becoming.

This phase can feel uncertain,

Disorienting,

Super uncomfortable.

Parts of you may long for the familiar,

Even as another part of you knows you are expanding beyond it.

You may feel both the pull of the past and the quiet call of something new emerging within you.

There's nothing wrong with being in this space.

The in-between is not a mistake,

Not a delay,

It's a sacred phase of integration where your nervous system is learning that it is safe to release old identities,

Old patterns and old ways of being and gently open to something greater.

In this meditation,

You don't need to rush,

You don't need to force clarity or certainty.

This is a space to soften,

To regulate,

To trust that even here in the unknown,

In the becoming,

Your body can learn to feel safe and your nervous system can expand.

You're not lost,

You're transitioning.

You are expanding into the next version of yourself and that is a beautiful thing.

Let's begin.

Take a few moments here to settle into your body,

Into the moment.

Gently close down your eyes if you feel comfortable and feel the weight of your body on the surface beneath you.

Feel the energy around you,

Holding you,

Holding your physical body as you sit here now.

Allow your body to soften.

Relax your jaw,

Your face,

Your shoulders,

Your chest.

Now bring gentle awareness to your breath.

With every breath in,

Observing the sensation of the air moving in,

Giving energy and life force to every single cell in your body.

As you exhale,

Sink a little deeper into the moment.

Inhale deeply,

Feel your chest and your belly expanding.

Exhale,

Feel your chest falling.

Inhale deeply and exhale,

Let any tension melt away.

Keep breathing deeply in your own rhythm.

The nervous system always seeks safety,

Even when the mind knows it's ready to move forward,

The body instinctively clings to familiarity.

That's not failure,

That's simply biology.

Your nervous system's job is to keep you alive,

To hold you,

To protect you.

Let your breath be your anchor.

Each inhale and exhale a subtle reminder that you are safe here,

Even in the unknown,

Even in the in-between of growth.

The in-between phase,

That space between who you were and who you are becoming,

It can feel heavy,

Disorienting,

Uncomfortable,

It's the space of transformation,

The liminal zone where old patterns no longer fit but the new identity isn't fully settled yet.

You might notice signs like restlessness,

Impatience,

Emotional intensity or uncertainty about choices.

Maybe you feel both excitement and fear at the same time,

And that tension is natural,

It's a part of the growth process.

Your nervous system is noticing the shift.

It wants the old rhythm,

The familiar reality.

Even if you consciously know you are ready to move forward,

It's like a tether,

Safe,

Predictable,

Familiar,

And yet transformation calls you to expand,

To stretch beyond comfort,

To open your heart and mind to new possibilities.

Recognize that the discomfort is part of the process,

It signals that change is happening,

It signals that the body,

Mind and heart are being invited to evolve.

Allow yourself for just a moment here to really feel into any uncomfortable sensations,

Emotions or thoughts that arise when you think about the transformation that you're currently in.

Maybe there's a tension in your chest or a heaviness in your shoulders or like a lump in your throat or a restless mind.

Maybe doubt or fears of losing yourself come up.

Uncomfortable feelings of disconnect.

But there's no need to push these feelings away and no need to fix them right now.

Simply witness them,

Allow them to exist,

Breathe into them.

And notice that beneath the discomfort is a guiding intention,

Your nervous system is alerting you,

Protecting you,

But it can also expand with practice and trust.

I invite you to imagine your heart in your chest expanding.

Visualize the nervous system.

Give it a color maybe.

Visualize it expanding slowly,

Comfortably,

Not forcefully,

With every inhale.

Every inhale invites presence and curiosity.

And every exhale releases old tension and patterns that no longer serve you.

Picture yourself stepping into the new version of your reality.

A version aligned with your growth,

Your highest self.

Feel the courage that already exists inside you.

Feel the sense of trust building in your body.

A sense that you can navigate the unknown safely.

Remind yourself,

Growth isn't linear.

There are always going to be moments of uncertainty,

Pauses,

Steps backward and stretches forward.

All of it is a part of the in-between phase.

Each moment of presence,

Each moment of softening strengthens your capacity to embody the new reality.

Breathe deeply into your heart.

Feel warmth,

Openness and a subtle sense of confidence spreading in your heart.

The nervous system learns through repetition.

It can tolerate the unknown.

It can expand.

It can hold both excitement and fear.

It can carry you into this new version of yourself.

Now,

Anchor yourself in small daily reminders of safety and growth.

And always come back to your regulation toolkit.

Whether that includes moving the body,

Connecting with people who hold space,

Journaling,

Practicing self-compassion,

Noticing the breath or honoring moments of stillness.

These small actions reinforce your nervous system's capacity to expand and trust.

And this is key because your life is a direct mirror of your nervous system.

Anything that you're wanting to see in your physical reality,

Success,

Financial stability,

Love,

Relationships,

Anything.

They're all a matter of expanding your nervous system to feel safe in receiving and holding that thing.

So prioritize regulation and from a regulated place,

Expand to receive and hold safely.

Cultivate that self-compassion,

That inner sense of stability and you will be limitless.

Feel the steadiness in your spine,

The openness in your chest,

The gentle expansion in your heart.

Even in the in-between,

Even in uncertainty,

You're safe,

You're capable and you're stepping fully into your growth,

Into alignment,

Into your potential.

Now carry this sense of calm and this awareness and this soft expansion with you as you continue throughout your day.

As you flow through this phase,

This in-between,

Embrace it.

And remember,

Every pause,

Every breath,

Every moment of witnessing yourself is a step deeper into the new version of your reality.

Slowly bring your awareness back to the room,

To your body as it sits here now.

Take three long,

Deep,

Closing breaths here.

With every breath,

Becoming more and more present,

Bringing some movement back into your body.

And on the final inhale,

Gently opening your eyes.

Taking a look around in your environment and carrying a sense of calm and self-trust.

You've got this.

I'm sending so much love out to you.

I'll see you on the other side.

You've got this.
