As I've been discussing,
The nature of healing is incredibly powerful.
It creates space for unbelievable shifts for people that defy logic.
It allows for the quantum leap of experience.
Let us look at the modern movement of healing.
Because of our desire to remedy the problems we experience,
We cannot help but see what we are experiencing as a problem.
The problem needs to be rectified,
To be fixed.
When our focus is upon healing our problems,
We may become fixated upon our problems.
I have problems with relationships.
I have problems with money.
I have problems opening up.
I have insecurities.
Here they need to be remedied,
So our initial desire to be happier,
More loving,
Can actually have the opposite effect.
We can become more critical,
More judgmental of ourselves.
We see things unaligned that need to be aligned.
We do not state what being aligned is,
And so it becomes the ultimate perfect idea of being a human being.
We go about our day looking at what needs to be remedied,
What needs fixing.
We may even come across the idea of accepting ourself,
And yet even when we think we are accepting,
We are accepting with secret desires to fix.
We may try and mask self-acceptance with self-improvement.
Here we begin to see our flaws as something that are detrimental.
What I have described here is healing understood from a polarized perspective,
As polarization will always deem things to an extreme.
If we look at our flaws from a unified perspective,
It is an array of the beautiful traits that we have that make up our personality.
To go deeper,
It is what makes us human,
Which in itself is a beautiful experience.
When we heal with the intent that we are somehow broken and in need of fixing,
It can forever create the problem of being broken.
I spent a long time believing that I had so many problems to fix,
And this is even after I emerged from depression.
I had deep-dived into spiritual growth and healing,
And become obsessed with focusing on what needed changing.
This actually led me to disassociate with my life,
As I focused on parts that seemed to never heal.
I was continuously looking for what was out of alignment.
However,
Over time I noticed myself becoming more anxious,
More critical and judgmental of myself.
How could spirituality,
Which is supposed to be loving,
Create such a surge in critical judgment?
When we look at the foundation of the healing movement,
So much of it is spurred by a rush of desire to perfect the imperfections.
In fact,
Does healing allow for the acceptance of imperfection?
If we look at healing from a multidimensional perspective,
Then we are both in need of development or improvement,
As well as being perfect as we are.
Our mind will have great difficulty with this concept,
Yet if you can be open to the idea that all of who you are in this moment is beautiful,
Flaws and imperfections,
It makes up your beautiful personality,
The unique essence of who you are.
And these traits is what makes you,
You.
This sums up your experiences.
As well as this,
We honour our desire to grow,
To develop,
To be more,
To let go of things that are limiting and reach for more expansive traits.
This is a paradox.
Yet the meeting point of unity consciousness is a paradox of the polarities.
It is the zero point in accepting all of the infinite on the left and right of the infinity sign.
This perspective allows you to enjoy being human,
To enjoy where you are in this moment,
Whilst also reaching for more.
It allows you to live,
And so many of us have forgotten to live.
It allows you to reach for more and surrender expectations far easier than if you didn't like where you are in this moment.
Of course gratitude,
Appreciation,
Presence are all gateways to access this moment.
Whilst the heart's desires,
Soul's callings,
Excitement to explore one's potential allow us to stretch our experience and discover more of who we can be.
A healing journey based on loving awareness is loving of the parts that do not heal and seem to never heal.
It does not even need those parts to heal,
Because it is loving of those parts,
Yet it still has an excitement and adventure to grow in the areas that are opening up.
We will begin to release the intense pressure of trying to change the parts of ourselves that do not change.
This paradox brings us great peace.
There is great freedom here once we realise this,
And we realise happiness,
Peace,
Is far far closer than we may have ever believed.
Blessings on your journey,
Namaste.
