In this meditation, we’ll gently return to the heart — not to fix it, not to force it open — but simply to listen. To remember what it feels like to be held by something greater than effort… by love, by presence, by grace. Background music "Our Peaceful Ocean" composed by Music of Wisdom

Welcome home.

A guided meditation for opening the heart.

Take a moment to settle into a position that feels supportive for your body.

You might be sitting or lying down,

Allowing yourself to be exactly as you are.

Before we begin,

Simply notice how your heart is arriving here today.

Not the physical heart alone,

But the emotional space of your heart.

Does it feel open,

Tight,

Heavy,

Numb,

Or quietly steady?

There is no right way for your heart to feel,

And whatever you find is welcome here.

Now bring gentle awareness to your breath.

We're not changing it or forcing it.

Just noticing the soft rise and fall of your chest.

If it feels supportive,

Allow one hand to rest on your heart and one to rest on your belly.

Allowing yourself to feel the breath beneath your palms.

With each inhale,

Imagine your breath gently expanding the space around your heart.

With each exhale,

Allowing just a little more softness.

In this moment,

There is nothing you need to protect yourself from.

In this moment,

You are safe.

Now imagine yourself standing in a wide open field of warm light.

Soft and golden,

Not blinding,

Not overwhelming.

Just enough to gently surround you.

This light carries the energy of unconditional love.

A presence that asks nothing of you,

Requires nothing of you,

And judges nothing about you.

You don't have to earn this light.

You don't have to deserve it.

It is simply here,

Because you are here.

If it feels comforting,

Imagine this light slowly moving closer,

Wrapping gently around your shoulders,

Your chest,

And your back.

Like being held in the most patient embrace.

You may notice that a part of you wants to stay guarded.

A part of you learned long ago that it was safer to be strong.

Independent and self-reliant.

Silently,

You might thank this part of you for protecting you,

For keeping you going,

And for helping you to survive.

And then,

Gently,

Let this part know,

It doesn't have to work so hard right now.

You might remember,

Or you might remind yourself softly,

It's okay to let someone else hold this.

Allow the light to support you,

To hold the weight you've been carrying,

The emotions you've contained,

And the love you've given so freely,

But sometimes struggled to receive.

In this space,

You don't have to give.

You don't have to fix.

You don't have to care for anyone else.

You are the one being cared for now.

If emotion begins to rise,

Tightness,

Warmth,

Or tenderness,

Let it be gentle.

There's no rush.

Your heart opens at a pace it trusts.

Quietly remind yourself,

You are supported here.

The universe has not left you.

If it feels right,

Imagine a soft light glowing directly in the center of your chest.

With each breath,

It grows a little warmer,

A little brighter.

Not forcing openness,

Just inviting it.

This is the part of you that still knows how to love,

How to hope,

How to soften,

Even after everything.

Begin now to slowly bring awareness back to your breath,

Back to your body.

Feeling the surface beneath you once more.

Notice your hands,

Your feet,

And the gentle rhythm of your breath.

And before we close,

I'd like to offer you the same simple reminder.

A phrase you can return to whenever your heart needs gentleness.

Silently or out loud,

Say to yourself,

Welcome home.

Again,

Welcome home.

When you're ready,

Gently begin to move your fingers and toes,

And slowly open your eyes,

Carrying this softness with you.

In this moment,

You are held,

You are loved,

And you are safe.
