What if rest was something that you could actually practice,
Not just hope for,
But intentionally enter into?
That's where non-sleep deep rest comes in.
And when you root it in faith,
Something beautiful can happen.
So non-sleep deep rest is a research-backed practice that guides you into deep relaxation and restoration without you even falling asleep.
You can think of it as intentional stillness for your nervous system.
So you do it by lying down and you're guided through a body scale or breath awareness to invite you into a deeper state of relaxation without you falling asleep.
Now here's where faith draws in.
So in my faith-based non-sleep deep rest practices,
I incorporate scripture that I speak over you to allow yourself to hear the words,
The scriptures slowly and experiencing it in a new way.
I also link breath prayer.
So in those moments where you just need to tune into his presence and you may not have the words,
You can connect your breath with a simple prayer to invite you into more calm and ease overall.
So we're not just guiding through this wonderful practice of stillness,
You're weaving in faith to get still in his presence,
Which is where real transformation can happen.
You're filling your soul,
You're filling your cup,
So that you can pour over and out to other people.
This practice can be especially helpful for those recovering from burnout or feeling overwhelmed,
Or maybe you're in a busy state of your life as a new mom and you're not able to get as much sleep throughout the night.
Take 10-15 minutes to practice non-sleep deep rest even for two weeks and notice a change in your calm and your body overall.
