For the one who needs to give yourself permission to rest, Don't feel guilty, Lean into the ease, The comfort. You deserve this. Exhale, Breathe easy, Let go. I know you're afraid to let your guard down. This world has conditioned us to always be on, But what if you gave yourself permission to press pause, If only for a moment? Look up, Child. God is saying, Allow me to hold space for you. Lean on me, Put the bags down, Take the weight off, Let me carry you. You don't have to do this all alone. Quit fighting all of the battles that aren't assigned to you. Matthew chapter 11 verses 28 through 30 say, Come to me, All you who are weary and burdened, And I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, For I am gentle and humble in heart, And you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Friend, I encourage you to lean on God today, To put yourself first, To breathe easy, And give yourself permission to rest.
