Let's begin this meditation in a comfortable position,
Making any small adjustments to settle into a place of ease.
Before you close your eyes,
Just take a moment to look around,
Just simply observing.
Notice where you are.
What do you see?
What do you hear?
What do you feel?
Let yourself be fully present in this space,
Knowing that God is here with you.
And now,
Gently close your eyes and bring your awareness to your breath.
Simply notice,
Without judgment,
Without trying to change anything,
Are your breaths short and shallow,
Or long and deep?
Just observe how you have arrived in this moment,
Knowing that God meets you here exactly as you are.
As you continue to breathe with intention,
Bring your awareness to something you need to release.
Is it stress,
Worry,
Self-doubt?
Is it the pain of the past,
A mistake,
A burden,
Or a person who has caused you harm?
Now visualize yourself in an open field.
The sky stretches endlessly above you.
The air is calm.
All around you,
You see scattered pieces of things that have been weighing on your heart.
Regret,
Fear,
Past hurts,
Insecurities.
Things that were never yours to carry alone.
Begin to gather them in your arms.
Holding them close,
You walk towards the edge of a cliff.
Standing before an open sky.
Below,
There is nothing but vast space.
Space for release.
Space for renewal.
Take a deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Open your arms and let everything fall away.
Wash as each burden disappears from sight,
Surrendered into the hands of God.
First Peter 5-7 says,
Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.
Feel the lightness in your heart.
Feel the peace of God wrapping around you like a warm embrace.
And now shift your focus to what you want to receive.
What do you long for in your heart?
Is it joy,
Peace,
Confidence,
A deeper trust in God?
As you turn back to the center of the field,
You begin to see life blooming all around you.
Flowers of joy,
Peace,
And contentment open before you.
The grass is vibrant.
The sun peeks through the clouds,
Casting its warmth on your face.
With every inhale,
Imagine yourself breathing in the goodness of God.
His joy,
His strength,
His peace.
Let it fill every part of you.
Hold on to this feeling,
Friend.
Know that you are not bound by your past.
You are free to walk forward,
Standing on the truth of God's word.
You have control over whatever you dwell on,
So fix your thoughts on Him and He will guide your path.
Let's take one more deep breath in through your nose and gently release it out of your mouth.
And when you're ready,
Slowly flutter your eyes open and carry this peace with you as you go.
