This is for the one who.
Maybe questioning who they are.
Seeking out purpose,
Identity.
Trying to figure out who they are in this moment.
So before we get started,
I want you to just take inventory of what's happening beneath the surface.
Simply feel.
Notice the breath moving in and out of the lungs.
Notice places of tension.
Or discomfort within the body.
Notice the pace of your heartbeat.
And if it feels okay,
I invite you to place one hand on your heart and the other on top of it.
Simply feel.
This idea of interoception.
Noticing what?
Is happening beneath the surface.
What do you feel within?
And if anything starts to bubble up.
To the surface throughout this time together.
Simply acknowledge.
Welcome it.
And let it go.
Now I invite you to soften.
And maybe you start with the breath.
So begin to deepen your inhalations.
And lengthen your exhalations.
Breathing in a way that feels full.
That feels light.
And that feels at ease.
And as you sit in this posture of holding yourself.
Know that God is also here holding you.
That his presence is near.
And that His Spirit dwells within you.
So in moments where you're feeling weak and unsure.
Lean on the spirit that lives within you.
Colossians 1 verses 16 and 17 say,
For in him All things were created.
Things in heaven and on earth.
Visible and invisible.
Whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities,
All things have been created.
Through him and for him.
He is before all things,
And in Him all things hold together.
Psalm 139.
14 says,
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Your works are wonderful.
I know that full well.
Ephesians 2 verse 10 says,
For we are God's handiwork,
Created in Christ to do good works,
Which God prepared in advance for us to do.
And lastly,
1 Peter chapter 2 verse 9.
But you are a chosen people,
A royal priesthood,
A holy nation,
God's special possession that you may declare the praises of him.
Who called you out of darkness.
Into his wonderful light.
Allow those scriptures to settle on you,
Friend.
Reminders that you are created.
That you are wonderfully made.
That you are his workmanship.
And that you are called.
Lord,
We come to you today.
Praying for reminders.
That you have the ability to.
Remind us and show us who we are.
That we were made in your image.
That we are not weak,
That we are strong.
That we are beautiful just the way we are.
Looking for reminders that Nothing is by accident and nothing can be wasted.
Every aspect of our lives can be used by you.
In times where we feel lost and confused and questioned.
Our gifts,
Our talents,
And our ability to make a difference on this earth.
We ask that you come and remove all of those thoughts that you.
.
.
Take every negative thought captive and remind us who we are in you.
That our identity is in Christ.
That we were created for a purpose,
That our life has meaning,
That none of this will be wasted.
Allow us to shake off these clouds and weight of doubt.
We ask that you transform every moment to fill us up,
To allow our spirits to be renewed,
To allow us to be made new in you,
Lord.
You are all mighty and all powerful and you have the ability to transform our mind and our thoughts.
Our identity is found in you,
Lord.
Help us remember that.
That everything and every impact that we're doing on this earth is not by our own doing,
But by Yours.
Move in and through our lives.
Help us to use our lessons and our stories and our struggles to make Your name known,
Lord.
We ask that you encourage us,
That you fill us with strength and power in every situation,
That we're motivated.
That we don't let the clouds of depression weigh us down.
That we don't turn to vices,
That we don't lean into distractions,
But we turn to your word,
Lord.
We turn to your promises.
We turn to your truths and we allow that to fill our hearts and our lives.
Lord,
We thank you for everything that you're doing.
Our lives.
And in the lives that surround us.
And that.
.
.
Our impact will have a domino effect that will leave a lasting legacy to those who come after us.
Let us be reminded of that,
That every moment here matters,
And that every moment can draw another heart towards yours large.
Move in our hearts,
Move in our lives,
Move in our minds.
Let us be renewed.
Let us be reminded of who we are through you.
That we were created by you,
That we are wonderfully made.
That we are your workmanship and that we are called.
We are called by you who has brought us out of darkness and into wonderful light.
We hold on to that and we know that to be true,
Lord.
In Jesus' name I pray.
And friend,
I hope that this has encouraged you.
That in moments where you're feeling lost and confused.
That you.
.
.
Think about the one.
Who has created you.
And who has his hand on your life.
And that is directing you and ordering every step that you go in.
Lean on him,
Friend.
His spirit dwells within you.
He is for you.
He is with you.
And I'm with you too.
You're not alone.
