Let's begin.

Find a comfortable position where you feel supported and at ease.

Close your eyes gently and allow your breath to find its natural rhythm.

Breathe in deeply and breathe out slowly.

As you settle into this space of relaxation,

Notice how your breath enters and leaves your body,

Creating a harmonious rhythm,

A balance that is the essence of life.

With every thought that arises,

Simply observe it as it passes,

Like clouds moving across a vast sky.

Then gently guide your focus back to your breath.

Now imagine a radiant,

Comforting light starting at the top of your head.

This light could be any color that signifies tranquility to you.

As you concentrate on this light,

Feel it gradually expand,

Bringing warmth and serenity down through your body.

As this light descends,

It relaxes each part of you.

It glides from the top of your head to your forehead,

Your eyes,

Your cheek and your jaw,

Releasing any tension held there.

It continues down your neck and shoulders,

Washing away any burdens or worries,

Harmonizing the energy within.

Notice how your shoulders drop a little as the light continues its journey.

Now picture this soothing light splitting into two vibrant streams of energy,

Each representing the different aspects of your being,

The left and right brain,

The masculine and feminine forces.

One stream,

Representing the logical and analytical side of your being,

Flows down your left side.

It's steady and strong,

Like a river coursing through a mountain pass.

This stream carries the essence of decision making,

Planning and organization.

Feel the solid strength of this energy,

The certainty it imbues,

The resoluteness it lends.

It's like the steady ticking of a clock or the methodical placement of bricks building a wall.

It's the part of you that breaks down complex problems into solvable parts,

That lays out a path forward when the road seems uncertain.

Take a moment to appreciate this strength,

This focused energy,

This dependable and logical side of your being.

Now gently bring your awareness to the other stream.

This stream,

Symbolizing your creative and intuitive side,

Travels down your right.

It's fluid and free,

Like a breeze sweeping across an open meadow or a paintbrush gliding across a blank canvas.

Feel the grace of this energy,

The spontaneity,

The boundless creativity it holds.

It's the part of you that dreams,

That imagines,

That looks at a star filled sky and sees infinite possibilities.

It's the spontaneous laughter,

The unexpected tear,

The flash of insight at the sight of a beautiful sunrise.

This is the part of you that dances in the rain,

That weaves stories out of thin air,

That feels deeply and laughs unconditionally.

Spend a moment with this creative,

Intuitive energy,

Relishing its freedom and flexibility,

Its rich and vibrant nature.

Together these two streams,

These dual aspects of yourself,

Create a balance,

An equilibrium that allows you to fully experience life,

Engaging both your head and your heart,

Your strength and your softness.

Feel these dual energies as they flow down through your arms and fingertips,

Your chest and your back,

Your hips and legs,

All the way to your toes.

The two streams merge at your feet,

Reminding you of your wholeness,

Of your ability to balance logic with intuition,

Strength with gentleness.

This balance allows you to live your life with a sense of completeness,

Aligned with your true purpose.

Hold on to this understanding of balance as you slowly return your awareness to your surroundings.

Notice the sounds around you,

Feel the contact of your feet with the ground,

Wiggle your fingers and toes,

Gently stretch your body and when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Remember this balance is always within you,

The harmony between your logical and creative,

Your masculine and feminine sides is always there,

Guiding you towards balance,

Peace and purpose.
