My name is Tudor Alexander and this is the Dance of Life podcast.

Live a transformed life and enjoy the journey there.

Are you ready?

Let's go!

What's up everybody?

Thank you so much for joining me today.

I hope you have an awesome,

Amazing day.

Today's quote is from none other than Mahatma Gandhi.

It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold or silver.

So,

So true.

You know,

As we welcome a new year and especially 2020,

You know,

This is a huge,

Huge year for inviting me to this podcast.

Especially 2020,

You know,

This is a huge,

Huge year for envisioning what you want out of life,

Right?

It's having hindsight,

Looking back and seeing where you've come and looking ahead and seeing where you want to go and a big part of that is your health.

And the more I have gotten into my own health recently in the last year,

I've always really been into health.

I've always taken care of myself to some degree.

I'm a professional athlete,

You kind of have to.

But I've had a lot of things that have really forced me to get back into my passion for biohacking,

For health and wellness,

For testing,

For nutrition,

For really hacking your performance to be top-notch.

And that's really what life is about,

Is being able to enjoy every moment to the fullest of our capability.

And the health of your body,

Of your mind,

Of everything is the gateway to that.

So as this year continues and we expand on these topics,

I really want to bring more of this information to you.

So today we're going to start kind of with some 10 simple hacks to put into your own life.

These are pretty easy,

Very simple.

There's a lot out there.

There's a lot of information and especially these days we live with a lot of variety.

And variety is great,

But it also can be very paralyzing if you don't have a good way of deciding and navigating all that information.

So my goal with this episode is to give you some simple,

Actionable tools that you can start to pay attention and start to implement in your own practice.

Health is a practice,

So I hope that if anything this episode inspires you with that idea,

That it is an ongoing practice that you can discover and continually improve.

So super excited to jump in this episode with you guys.

Thanks for tuning in.

If you like this kind of content,

New year,

New you,

You know,

It sounds so cliche,

But at the end of the day,

There's somebody in your circle who's having a challenge with their health,

Who's not taking care of themselves the best.

Even if it inspires them to do some googling or to open a magazine or order a new supplement or try something new,

You have made a difference by sharing some information with them.

So share that with your family and friends.

If you like this episode,

I'd love to know.

Looking forward to making more of these kinds of episodes.

And with that,

Let's go check out the 10 simple health hacks to live a vibrant life.

All right,

Guys,

So let's jump into this right away.

But first,

I'm going to give you some stipulations,

Right?

Obviously,

There's stipulations to everything,

Especially when we're talking about health.

Number one,

First,

It's very important to have a functional or integrative medicine doctor that you're working with.

These are osteopaths,

Naturopaths.

These are people that are trained in integrative medicine.

What that means,

If you don't know,

If you haven't heard that term,

It is a I don't think that it's new.

And this is maybe in the Western society.

It's a new perspective.

But,

You know,

If you look at Eastern religions,

If you look at all these older traditions,

They've seen the body as one system.

Nothing is isolated.

So in that sense,

It's not a new idea.

But relatively,

This practice,

This term is relatively new.

So you want to find a doctor that's a functional medicine doctor that is going to look at your body as a whole.

That's going to consider,

You know,

The whole system is going to consider other therapies other than just medications.

And that's really important.

So that's first stipulation.

The second stipulation is that health is an ongoing puzzle.

You know,

That's something that you need to figure out.

There's a lot of people out there that are going to give you a lot of valuable information.

I hope that this will be one source for that this episode.

But overall,

You know,

Your body is different from other people's body.

Your body's going to be different from mine,

From your friends,

From your families even.

And there's a lot of considerations you have to get used to.

It's a lot of trial and error.

You know,

Be patient.

That's another that's another important thing I can share with you as we go into these different hacks.

And as we if you like this kind of content,

I'll be making more of it.

So this is just a good general approach to everything else that you're going to listen to.

And even not in anything that you find over the Internet.

Be patient.

You know,

Be patient with the things that you try.

The mind is fast,

But the body is slow.

There's a lot of things that just take time.

Also,

Be mindful.

Be mindful because some things can't be measured with a test and sometimes even the test that you do get,

They're not black and white.

So you have to learn to be mindful.

What does that mean?

That means be present,

Be aware,

Learn to pay attention.

Because the more you learn to pay attention,

The more not only do you can you measure the things that are good,

That are happening to you based on the actions that you take,

But you can also become more sensitive to when things become out of balance.

And that's super,

Super important.

And the last thing that I want to share with you before we jump into these 10 health hacks is to do your research.

You know,

We live in especially today with all these Facebook ads for literally everything.

It's just like the snake oil sellers from back in the ancient times,

But we're bombarded with it.

And,

You know,

It's a good thing and a bad thing.

It's very easy to bring a product to market.

We have access to a lot of things today that people didn't have access to 50 years ago,

Even 20 years ago.

But at the same time,

Because of that ease of access,

You really have to do your research because it's also easy to put stuff out there.

So always do your research.

There's a lot of great websites out there to read scholarly articles and reviews of different research.

Self-hacked,

Which is going to be part of one of the hacks that I'm going to mention here,

But self-hacked as a website collection of science articles on everything you can imagine.

It's a great resource to check.

They really do their homework and research and citations.

So that's a great resource.

There's a lot of them out there,

But that's just one of them.

Self hacked dot com.

So you can look up a lot of different things there,

Like supplements,

You know,

Different therapies and just see what what does the research say?

It's peer reviewed,

So it's very good stuff.

So the 10 health hacks.

These are some simple ones that changed my life.

They're easy to do.

There's so many.

I mean,

Gosh,

You know,

Just picking 10 was like,

OK,

Like,

How can I give you the simplest things to really put into your life?

But some of these cost money.

Some of them are free.

I'm a huge,

Huge believer in if you can measure it,

You can take action.

So at the end of the day,

If you can observe something doesn't have to be like a super precise measurement,

Even if you can look at something and notice it,

Then you can take action.

If you if you aren't observing something and it's not in your awareness,

Then you cannot take action.

So that's something to remember as we go into these.

Number one is fasting.

Fasting fasting is such a huge part of a healthy life.

And the more I get into it myself as a practice,

More I learned about it,

The more I'm learning about it,

Both as a spiritual practice,

As a emotional practice,

As a physical practice.

There's a lot of different ways to do it,

But it's a very,

Very powerful tool that doesn't cost you anything.

In fact,

Maybe it saves you money because you're not going to eat.

It's a great tool.

So make sure that you learn as much as you can about it.

I'm actually going to record an episode on how to fast,

How to do intermittent fasting,

How to do water fasts.

You know,

Basically some really useful strategies on how to we're going to do a deep dive into this in a couple of weeks.

So make sure you stay tuned for that.

But fasting is a big one.

There's intermittent fasting where you fast every day,

Let's say,

For example,

For a period of time you don't eat in the period of time you do eat,

Or let's say you fast twice a week and then the other five days you eat.

A lot of different ways.

And then there's also water fasts,

Which are done,

You know,

For the purpose of cleansing,

For the purpose of spiritual attunement,

Meditation,

All that kind of stuff.

So we're going to do an episode on this in a couple of weeks,

But it's a very powerful tool and it's free.

And it's been done,

It's done for thousands of years.

There's so many benefits to it.

You can do your own research,

But it's just a really powerful tool.

So if you aren't employing that,

You may want to take a look at that and see how you,

What's going to be the right way to do it.

Like I said,

There's a lot of ways to do it and we're going to be diving into that in a couple of weeks.

But until then,

Do your research and see,

You know,

What resonates with you.

Number two is red light,

Red light therapy or red light in general.

This is another minimally minimal cost type of hack that you can do.

And what that means is basically,

You know,

In general,

We have a lot of blue light that we get from our computers,

From our screens,

On our tablets,

Our phones,

At work.

If you work in an office,

I really feel your pain.

I've been there.

I'm very glad that I'm self-employed and I can move around as much as I want.

So,

You know,

You have to take the steps to reduce that blue light exposure because it's very unnatural.

And there's a lot of science that shows us the disruptive impacts of blue light.

The interesting thing is that it doesn't have to be blue noticeably for it to have blue light spectrum.

And a lot of those fluorescent lights,

Those bright lights that are meant to wake you up.

It's a bright LED white.

If it's a cold,

Quote unquote,

Type of light.

Those things have blue light in them and they're very,

Very disruptive,

Especially at night if you're trying to sleep.

You know,

So there's a lot of measures that you can take to just reduce overall blue light impact because it just it damages your mitochondria.

It creates certain stress responses in your body and all these little minor stresses add up.

You know,

Living a good,

Vibrant life is not necessarily about doing one thing that's going to like totally be a panacea,

A cure-all.

Living a vibrant life is about handling the thousands and thousands of cuts that you take on a daily basis from all these little sources like extra blue light from pesticides in your food,

From smoking or inhaling pollution,

Whatever.

You know,

All kinds of stuff adds up over time.

So red light,

You can do this pretty easily.

You know,

I think it's free if you just change the settings on your computer and on your phone,

At least.

I change my phone to dark mode so that,

A,

I get a lot less of that disruptive white light,

You know,

Just that it's waking me up all the time.

And I also put night mode on my phone so that it's like doubly,

You know,

Impactful.

I change the background to like a dark kind of space theme so that,

Again,

It's just not as disruptive.

So that if I do have to check my phone at night,

You know,

It's not going to totally like liven me up and strain my eyes.

The other thing,

Too,

Is change the red light on your laptop.

Or if you can't do that,

Install a program.

There's a lot of different ways to do that,

But just basically reduce the amount of blue light by changing it to red.

Unless you really need that kind of color spectrum,

Like if you're doing design work,

I understand.

But that's something to keep in mind,

At least maybe when you're not working or have some sort of setting after 6 p.

M.

That you set it to red light.

The other,

You know,

You can really take this to the next level and buy like red bulbs and put them in your bedroom.

Or another good solution I've found is to buy a salt lamp,

Like a Himalayan salt lamp,

Because it's red light.

And to put it in your bathroom,

In your bedroom,

They're very great for ambiance.

And red light also helps us calm down at night.

It's not stimulatory.

It actually tells your body it's time to wind down.

So another great red health hack that you can use.

Very simple,

Very low cost.

Again,

It doesn't cost you anything to change the filters on your phones and devices.

It may cost you a little bit if you are looking for those extra lighting options.

Number three is self-decode.

This is a super,

Super cool genetic test type of thing.

So basically what self-decode is,

It's basically a database which is linked to self-hacked.

And it does,

It's a service.

So if you have your genes already sequenced through 23andMe and all this stuff,

Or if you haven't,

You can just submit them.

But it takes all that genetic information and it compares it to,

You know,

Thousands of research studies on genes and what your tendencies are.

And it gives you a report that's super detailed about,

Okay,

Here's what your genes,

Based on these research studies are predisposed to doing based on,

You know,

Your fat.

How do you metabolize fats?

How do you metabolize supplements?

How is your cognition?

What is your heart health going to look like?

You know,

Do you have certain genes for certain chronic diseases?

Basically,

You know,

All these kind of things.

I'm really paraphrasing it here just for the sake of time.

But it's out of all,

I've taken three different gene sequencing tests services.

There's a lot out there now and it's all over the place.

This one is the most comprehensive and it costs you about 200 bucks.

The reason I paid 200 is because I wanted to get the full.

So if you paid 50 bucks,

It's 50 bucks per year,

But you only have access to like one of the reports or two of the reports or something.

And it's a yearly subscription.

So to me,

I'm like,

That's pointless.

So you could pay 200 flat for the rest of your life and you have access to all,

I believe,

Seven reports or something like that.

So really super handy out of every test that I took.

This gave me a lot of practical advice.

So basically it gives you,

You know,

What are your genetic issues?

And then it tells you lifestyle and supplement things to do based on,

You know,

What your genes say.

So,

Hey,

You know,

You're more likely to not absorb magnesium.

So take a little more magnesium.

You know,

It's OK.

Or try this supplement,

You know,

And then you can do your own research on those things and see,

OK,

Am I OK with this in my life?

Am I going to react to it?

You know,

Is it am I OK tolerating the negative potential side effects,

All that kind of stuff?

So,

Again,

You've got to be your own researcher.

Remember,

One of those stipulations.

But self-decode is super,

Super valuable.

It's one of the most comprehensive things I've been for 200 bucks.

I mean,

It's totally worth it.

It's,

You know,

The genes don't change.

So once you have that information,

That's information for life that you can take at least a couple actionable things,

At least a few differently and reduce your,

You know,

Oxidative stress.

You can reduce your inflammation.

You can improve your cognition.

So many wonderful things that you can do by learning how to leverage your genes.

So super important.

Number four,

Learn to dance.

This is like super biased because obviously I teach dancing.

I'm a professional athlete,

Professional ballroom dancer.

But,

You know,

In reality,

Like it really is.

And learn to partner dance,

I'm going to say,

Actually,

Because partner dancing has a unique benefit to it because of that partnership,

Because of the connection.

You know,

It's such a great workout.

There's been documented studies on its impact on cognition and memory because you're coordinating your entire body to music with other people.

So it's incredibly stimulating for the mind and for the emotions.

It gives you confidence.

There's a great workout attached to it.

You can do it for hours.

It's low impact.

It's community building,

You know,

So every possible emotional need that you could have is fulfilled through dancing,

You know,

And whether you're motivated by athleticism or performance or you just want to be with other people and get to know other people or gain confidence.

It's a really,

Really useful life hack.

It saved my life in many ways.

It's taught me so many things and,

You know,

It's very easy to do.

Honestly,

It really is.

If it's scary to you,

Then there's some part of your spirit that maybe wants to do it.

So go learn to dance.

Doesn't matter what it is.

There's so many different types of social dances.

Or if you want to go the hardcore competitive route that's available to you know,

There's so many studios all around.

But such a great life hack.

Learn to dance.

Number five,

Floss daily.

You know,

Next week I'm going to interview Will Revack of oral wellness dot com.

Super,

Super excited for this interview because we're going to be doing a lot of a deep dive on oral health and why that's so important.

Again,

Some of these points,

There's so much to talk about,

You know,

And flossing.

Again,

It sounds so simple,

But how many times do you actually do it?

And most of the time we don't.

So we let that food just stay in our teeth and it sounds nasty,

But it's it really causes a lot of issues.

So one way that I've found to hack this easily is to do it in the shower.

I take my floss with me in the shower and every time I shower,

I just take a little piece and then boom,

Boom,

Boom,

Go through the teeth and floss it.

So if you shower at night,

It's perfect timing because you already ate so you can get all that stuff out before you sleep so it doesn't rot in there for eight,

Nine hours.

And especially in the morning after breakfast,

Depending how your morning routine is,

But flossing daily at least once.

There's a lot of reasons to do it besides just clearing the food out of there.

It stimulates blood flow to your gums.

It gets them a little more resilient,

You know,

And it's it's just a useful hack that,

Again,

It's not going to make a huge difference maybe today.

But over the course of,

You know,

Five years,

10 years,

Flossing daily is going to be a huge,

Huge benefit to your teeth.

And like I said,

Next week,

We're going to do a deep dive into oral health,

Which should be number one,

Should be up there with your health routine.

And I hope that it will inspire you to to see it that way,

Because most of us don't see the health of our teeth as that important.

You know,

We kind of just brush,

Brush,

Brush and then,

OK,

I'm done with it.

The second,

The sixth point,

This is the second point on oral health.

The sixth one is use a tooth remineralizing powder.

So this is kind of also related with oral health because oral health is huge.

I'm like,

Right,

What can I put in here that simple,

You know,

Flossing is free learning to dance.

That's minimal cost.

Self-decode.

That was a little more expensive.

Two hundred bucks.

Red light free,

Fasting free.

Using a tooth remineralizing powder.

This will cost you a little bit,

Depending how much you know where you get it from that kind of anywhere from,

I'd say,

Maybe twenty dollars to fifty dollars.

But what is this for?

So,

You know,

Our teeth are constantly getting demineralized from the acidic foods that we eat,

From not brushing properly and respecting the time,

The timing of eating.

So what does that mean?

We're going to get into more of that next week when I do a deep dive with Will on oral health.

But,

You know,

Basically when you eat,

You're creating a very acidic environment for your mouth,

Especially if you're eating crappy food like sugar and sweets and all this junk.

So try not to do that.

That's the number one health act right there.

Avoid sugar.

But in general,

Whatever you eat creates an acidic environment and you're also chewing and creating damage in a microscopic level.

So your teeth need to go through a remineralizing process to get stronger again.

That's why we get tooth sensitivity.

And a good idea is that after you eat is to rinse your mouth out.

Rinse your mouth out.

Don't let the end.

That's going to help.

It's going to help basically clear out some of that acid and allow your teeth to remineralize.

The other thing you can do,

Which is super useful,

Especially at night before you go to bed,

In the morning after you have your breakfast and you brush your teeth,

Rinse your mouth out and use a remineralization powder.

This is a powder that's usually made from some sort of substances that help to strengthen your teeth.

It's not fluoride based.

It's totally natural.

I prefer the oral wellness one.

And like I said,

We'll be talking more about that next week.

But you can check it out at oral wellness dot com.

It's the shine tooth powder.

Super,

Super cool.

I've used it now for a couple of months and it helped my tooth sensitivity.

I had like I've had so many cavities.

And the last thing I want to do is get more work done because my teeth are patchwork as it is.

So the more work I get done,

It just chips away at them.

Then they're going to have to do a crown,

Then root canal.

So it's like it's just a downward spiral.

So you want to keep that mineralization as good as you can through good,

Healthy habits.

The problem with fluoride and why we've been sold on fluoride is that it's a huge toxin.

Fluoride first,

Number one,

Is just a huge toxin.

And there's a lot of other articles on oral wellness dot com that you guys can check out.

It's a super phenomenal resource.

It's done a lot of research on why you shouldn't really use fluoride and all the benefits of using a remineralizing powder.

So check that out.

I prefer shine.

Like I said,

Shine is is a great powder.

There's other ones out there,

But oral wellness does their research on everything they do.

It's it's very high quality stuff.

So check it out.

Number seven,

Find a good omega three supplement.

So this this one's interesting because Omega threes are in our diet.

If you eat eggs,

If you eat fish,

You know,

They're in there.

But the problem is that most of the time cooking destroys some of that.

Also,

Another problem is that most of our diet today,

Especially if you're not eating super clean.

And even if you do,

Let me tell you,

I thought I was eating clean until I learned a lot of stuff about how things actually work in our diet.

And it wasn't exactly like that.

You know,

We've been sold a lot of myths over the last 50 years from various high profit interests like the plant oil industry and the sugar industry in particular,

Who have lobbied like crazy to create a lot of propaganda and misinformation about sugar,

About plant oils,

About heart health,

About all kinds of stuff.

That really is just not true.

And it's finally starting to come out.

So one of those things is that when you when you eat a normal diet,

Standard American diet,

Let's put it this way.

Omega six,

There's a lot of different omegas in the oils,

Omega three,

Omega six,

Omega nine,

These are different fatty acids,

They're different compounds within the oils that serve to do various things in your body.

Long story short,

There's a lot more omega six,

They often be in proportion,

Everything's related to everything else.

Even with your minerals,

Calcium and magnesium work together to contract and relax your muscles,

For example.

So in our diets,

We tend to get a lot more omega six than we get omega threes.

That's why omega three is such an important supplement.

So when you're looking for an omega three supplement,

You have to find a good quality one that incorporates a good,

Diverse profile.

A lot of research behind it.

Good quality manufacturing practices.

Again,

You have to do your research.

I've done a lot of research and the one that I prefer is the Bulletproof brand.

He's got a lot of products and certainly he markets them very well,

For sure.

But some of them are actually pretty good.

And the one I prefer is the Bulletproof Omega krill complex.

That's a great supplement.

The values there,

The qualities there.

It's just an overall good one to include.

Another one that I prefer also is Udo's oil with DHA.

It's spelled U-D-O apostrophe S.

Udo's oil.

That's a great one.

It comes in a bottle.

You can get them in capsules too,

But you can get in a bottle.

That one's got a nice diverse profile as well.

It's a little higher in the omega sixes,

But it's a great oil just to have around the house.

Make sure you keep it in the fridge to add to your salads,

To add to a shake.

Don't cook with it.

Again,

These oils are very sensitive.

So anytime you cook with an oil,

Unless it's like coconut oil,

Butter,

Ghee,

All these kinds of things,

You want to make sure you're not cooking with canola oil,

Soybean oil,

All these nasty plant oils,

Even olive oil.

Be careful with the heat.

All these things tend to denature the fat that you eat.

So find a good omega three to balance out all of the inherent stuff that we tend to eat.

Like if you're going out to a party and you eat fried food or,

You know,

Whatever else,

If you have a high diet and certain things that contributes to omega six imbalance,

Omega three is super,

Super important.

So check out that Bulletproof one.

It's a lot of,

A lot of them's out there.

That's the one I prefer.

Number eight kind of goes along with this one again,

The omega three supplement that's going to cost you,

I think about 40 bucks,

Something like that.

The next health hack is free to some extent.

I mean,

It's information,

But it's going to cost you obviously to get the fats,

But it's eat good fats and avoid the crappy ones.

You know,

More ghee,

More butter,

More avocado oil,

MCT oil.

Just be careful with MCT oil,

Because if you have too much,

You can poop your pants.

So just make sure you don't take on a lot of it at one time.

But my favorite,

Favorite fats are grass fed butter,

Grass fed ghee,

And avocado oil.

Coconut oil is pretty good too.

It's good for cooking.

I actually use it for my oral health routine to swish in my mouth.

So maybe that could be another hack to maybe 11 hacks.

There you go.

Bonus hack,

Bonus hack number 8.

5.

Use coconut oil to swish your teeth around.

I've been using,

I have not used the fluoride toothpaste for like two years now.

I've literally just brushed my teeth after meals,

Swished some of the remineralizing powder I've swished with coconut oil and my teeth feel great.

So that's another great use for that.

There's a lot of uses for it,

But yeah,

Eat good fats.

Ghee is a great,

Great option for people who don't tolerate dairy.

If you don't believe in animal products,

I would strongly,

Strongly encourage you to check this out.

I realize that a lot of us have opinions when it comes to that.

You know,

And I'm,

I'm not a fan of the farming industry either,

But I prefer my health as number one priority.

And the reality is that you need good quality fats like saturated fat,

Especially to help to cook in.

That's number one.

If you're going to cook,

You need a lot of cooking to help build your hormones,

Your cell membranes,

All these things,

Plant oils.

There's not too many plant oils on the avocado oil,

Olive oil.

Those are good,

But again,

They're high in other types of fats and you have too many of them.

It's an imbalance and especially cooking with them.

It's just way too much.

You want to avoid most of the plant oils like soy based canola based,

You know,

All these corn oil based.

It's just terrible for you.

So eat good fats.

They're super,

Super important for you.

Number nine.

This one's pretty cool.

Cool little hack.

It's been around for a couple of years.

I just discovered it recently.

I was looking for if you,

If you're an active person,

You're working out.

If you're looking for a workout boost,

If you're looking for a little performance boost while you're doing high intensity training,

Or if you're just looking for something kind of a minimal shake,

You know,

Option that you can include to help you through a little load in the day.

It's called carb 10 carb 10 super cool supplement.

It's a powder it's made from pea starch,

I believe.

And somehow don't ask me how the particle size is super small,

Some technology,

Whatever,

But it doesn't spike your blood sugar and insulin levels.

So it's super gentle on your blood,

Which is so cool.

So cool because a lot of the other options,

I don't know if you ever go lifting or if you're doing any kind of,

Again,

High intensity training,

It used to be that you just had to put some dextrose powder or maltodextrin,

You know,

All these kind of sugary,

Basically it's sugar.

I mean,

It's sugar in water so you can get a quick carb boost.

And that was great.

I mean,

It serves the function of giving your carbs for that short needed intensity.

But the problem is that you're spiking your blood sugar and something I want to get into down the road again,

We're going to really expand on all these topics,

But your blood sugar is super related to your stress.

When you're stressed out and you're in a stress pattern,

Let's put it that way for simplicity sake,

Your blood sugar is the first thing to suffer because stress makes the blood sugar react.

And you start having insulin resistance.

You start having all these kinds of prediabetes and adrenal fatigue and all these kinds of different problems.

So when you are looking to recover and to,

In general,

I think it's just general health,

You want to avoid large spikes to your blood sugar.

Huge,

Huge health act that's been a major revelation in my life that I can share with you.

So avoid huge health,

Huge spikes in your blood sugar.

That means eat more quality fats so you feel satiated rather than filling up on carbs,

Which will spike your blood sugar and then crash you later.

And then if you do need carbs,

You know,

Like let's say again,

If you're doing high intensity training,

Like in my case,

I'm an athlete.

So doing the whole keto thing doesn't really work.

I mean,

It may work for a long distance type of athletics,

But when you need high intensity burst,

Sprint type of movement or energy,

The keto high fat diet just doesn't work.

I mean,

I eat a lot of good fats,

But I also balance it with some carbs that have energy.

And I find that this carb 10,

It's a powder you put,

I just put it in a little container with some collagen protein and then anything else.

Maybe if I want a little MCT oil in there for extra energy or something like that,

But literally that's all you need.

I would just put it,

You know,

Two scoops of the carb 10,

Maybe one scoop of the collagen protein just to balance out the protein and carbs.

And together you just add water,

Shake it up and drink it.

It has no taste.

I'm not sure if they have a taste like a flavored version,

But you can add,

You know,

Like for example,

The mango,

Not mangosteen,

Monk fruit extract.

You can add monk fruit extract to like little drops to the drink and that way it's a little sweeter and that doesn't spike your blood sugar either.

So carb 10,

Super interesting.

It's very minimally impacting blood sugar and you can still get the benefits of carbs.

So it's a great way to extend,

You know,

Like if you need a power through a situation without having to like,

Like eat,

You know,

And crash your digestive system.

It's a very low impact way to do that.

So go check it out.

I don't have a particular brand that I like just go on Amazon and see what you like as far as value.

But carb 10 is,

Is the actual trademarked material.

There's a lot of brands that sell it.

Number 10 final health hack,

Simple health hack for a vibrant life is create a gratitude practice.

You know,

This is,

It's again,

These are all sounds simple,

But it's,

It's the simple things that we do every day.

Having a gratitude practice in my own life has been nothing short of transformational.

I mean,

I can't tell you how huge it's been in connecting everything else,

All the dots in my life.

You know,

We could have a thousand hacks for a thousand things,

But if you're not grateful,

If you're not able to continually check in and appreciate what's so magical about this life,

What you have been given,

What you enjoy,

You know,

There's so much.

That's part of gratitude.

There's mindfulness,

There's finding stillness,

There's reframing,

There's forgiveness,

There's acceptance.

There's actually a lot that goes into it.

It's not just gratitude.

It all works together.

And when you really create that practice in your life,

If you look at any successful person,

Any person who's happy,

Any person who has gotten what they want out of life,

They all have a practice of appreciation and gratitude.

And that's what's in there.

So it is the universal key to a vibrant life,

To a successful life.

And gratitude is going to be great for your health too.

When you're stressed out,

When you're complaining,

When you're negative,

When you are upset,

When you're unable to see,

Right?

To see clearly.

It really,

Stress is going to kill you.

It really will take a toll on your health.

So if we're looking at health hacks,

I honestly genuinely believe that gratitude should be included in there because it is a hack to your mindset,

Your emotions,

Your levels of stress,

To be able to manage how you deal with life and to reframe it,

To fit it constantly into a frame of appreciation and beauty and curiosity.

For this one,

It's free obviously.

If you want some great resources,

I've written a book about this.

Go check it out at thegratitudemap.

Com.

You can get the book for free.

You get a free mini course that comes with it.

There's a free huge Facebook group where you can practice all this stuff on a daily basis.

I mean,

It'll cost you,

I think $9 to get the book shipped to you and created,

But you get all that stuff for free.

If you want to go the full throttle and go full ham,

There's a full program that's associated with the book.

You can check it out.

I believe it's like 97 bucks or something like that,

But either way,

It's practically free,

Low cost to you to get this going.

Take some action for your own health,

For the sake of the people around you.

And for living a vibrant life.

You know,

There's many,

Many hacks.

There's dozens of things that I want to share with you guys in the coming months and weeks,

But they all fall into about five different categories.

Number one is things that you need to do,

Like your habits.

What are some habit like flossing,

Right?

So we habit stack that with showering,

Which is another habit.

So that's a habit.

Another one is things that you need to eat.

You know,

Like what kind of fats you should eat,

How much of them,

You know,

If you need to eat carbs,

You know,

What kind of carbs can you use to get energy?

Another type of hack is what are the things you can take like supplements?

Another one is what are the things you can use like,

You know,

Tools like for example,

A wearable,

Like an aura ring.

I didn't mention it in this one,

But you know,

If you have an aura ring,

It tracks your sleep and gives you your heart rate variability.

That's another hack.

And the last one is what are the things that you need to avoid?

You know,

Like the toxins that you need to avoid,

Prevention from negative thinking through gratitude,

You know?

So this particular episode,

We touched on a lot of these.

We touched on all of them on a good mix.

There's so much more that I want to present to you.

I hope that this has inspired you to at least pick one,

Pick one of these today.

I'm going to review them really quick.

Fasting,

Red light therapy,

Self decode,

Learn to dance,

Floss daily,

Use a two,

Three mineralizing powder,

Find a good omega three supplement.

I like the bulletproof omega krill complex.

For the remineralization powder,

I like the shine from oral wellness.

Com.

Eat good fats,

Avoid the crappy ones,

Use carb 10 if you need carbs for your shake and employer gratitude practice,

Create one for your life.

So pick one of those at least and commit to it for the next 30 days and see what happens.

You know,

You can message me,

Let me know how it goes,

Posting the gratitude group if you decide to go with that.

But take action on one of these.

I'm going to be sharing a lot more of these in the future.

And that concludes our 10 simple health hacks to live a vibrant life.

All right,

Guys.

Well,

I hope you have enjoyed this episode of it's inspired you to adopt at least one of these hacks,

Like I said,

Into your own life to improve your energy,

Your motivation,

Your happiness.

You know,

Life is too short to live at 60% at 70%,

Even if you're not,

You're not going to be able to live at 60% at 70% at 70%.

Even at 80%,

Try to live as close as possible to 100%.

It's not always going to happen.

But the point is that we try,

You know,

Hope that you've gotten some simple tools out of this to take action.

And to live that vibrant life,

You know,

To live a vibrant life.

What does that mean to you?

To me,

It means living a life of success and pursuing what does success mean to you of living a life of gratitude and appreciation and appreciating the things that you do really well.

Let's remember today's quote from Mahatma Gandhi.

It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold or silver.

Life is short guys,

You know,

We often take for granted so many things until they stop working.

And if you remember that your most prized possession is literally right under your nose,

It's your body.

It's an amazing tool,

But you have to figure it out.

And when you do that,

You are the wealthiest person on the planet.

Thank you guys for listening,

Like I said,

For our interview with Will Revack of oral wellness.

Com,

We're going to do a deep dive into some oral health stuff.

Really,

You don't want to miss this if health is your thing.

And honestly,

I think everybody should listen to this because we don't consider oral health as being equally as important as everything else in our health routine.

So that's why it's so important to elevate our knowledge and our awareness of this important topic.

So make sure you tune in next Friday for my interview with Will.

It's going to be awesome.

We're going to talk a ton of valuable stuff.

Give you some great resources too.

And in the meantime,

Remember that your life is a dance.
