
Astral Nidra: Journey Through A Stargate
Welcome to Astral Nidra session four where you will embark on an extraordinary journey through the mystical realms of alternate dimensions. Settle into a comfortable position and allow yourself to be transported into a state of deep relaxation as you connect with your astral body and embark on an adventure like no other. As your awareness expands, you will come to realize that your physical body is merely a vessel, and your consciousness transcends the boundaries of space and time.

Welcome to this guided visualization where we will use a stargate to travel to alternate dimensions with our astral body.
Lie down on your back in Shavasana and take a few full deep breaths,
Consciously releasing all muscular tension.
Make any final adjustments so that you can remain perfectly still for the entire duration of this session.
Rotate your awareness around the body,
Releasing any habitual muscular tension in the large muscles of the arms and legs,
The shoulders,
Chest,
And abdomen.
Release all the muscles in the face,
Especially surrounding the mouth,
Eyes,
And forehead.
Develop awareness to where tension habitually forms when awareness is lost and make an extra effort to maintain awareness of these groups of muscles so that perfect relaxation can be maintained.
From awareness comes relaxation.
Feel the meeting points between your body and the surface beneath you,
The back of the head,
Right shoulder blade,
Left shoulder blade,
Right elbow,
Left elbow,
Right hand,
Left hand,
Right buttock,
Left buttock,
Right calf muscle,
Left calf muscle,
Right heel,
Left heel.
Surrender your entire body to the force of gravity.
The physical body is not you nor is it yours.
This is merely a vehicle borrowed from the earth and just like your other vehicles,
You are the passenger.
We use this physical body to traverse the physical dimension and likewise,
We have an astral body for traversing the astral dimension.
However,
You,
The consciousness,
Remains unchanged and unimpacted by all the external experiences of the gross and subtle body and mind.
Allow your awareness to permeate the entire right leg,
Left leg,
Both legs together,
The whole right arm,
Whole left arm,
Both arms together,
The entire pelvis,
Torso,
Shoulders,
Neck,
And face,
The whole body together at once,
From head to toe.
Know that you are safe.
All fear is an illusion.
Your physical body,
Astral body,
And causal body are all equal manifestations of your higher self,
Which is always with you as the real you.
Therefore,
Take this time now to connect with the breath and let go of any illusory fears rooted in falsely identifying with these three bodies.
Know that you are the silent witness within the formless silent self.
Now feel a sense of excitement and anticipation spreading all throughout you as you are now becoming increasingly ready to travel to astral dimensions.
Breathe in a manner that soothes and calms your body and mind.
Take a deep breath in and exhale out slow and long.
Inhale deep,
Exhale long.
Now formulate your intention.
Perhaps there is a certain dimension you would like to travel to,
Or perhaps there are certain experiences you would like to have in the astral world.
Allow the words to your intention to come to you now and then repeat it silently three times.
Now return your awareness to the body.
Scan your awareness around the body,
Starting with the right hand,
The right hand thumb,
Second finger,
Third,
Fourth,
And fifth finger,
Palm of the hand,
Back of the hand,
Right wrist,
Lower arm,
Elbow,
Upper arm and shoulder,
Armpit,
Right side of the torso,
Waist,
Hip,
Thigh,
Back of the thigh,
Right kneecap,
Back of the knee,

Calf muscle,

Now allow your awareness to cross over to the left hand,
The left hand thumb,

Upper arm and shoulder,
Armpit,
Left side of the torso,

Bring your awareness up to the crown of the head,

You must be determined to remain awake and alert.
We will now do one more round of body scan to put the body to sleep,
But the mind must remain awake.

Envelope your entire body in awareness.
Check to be sure you are still awake and fully engaged with these instructions.
We will now liberate the astral body from the physical body.
Bring your awareness to the right hand.
Without moving a single muscle,
Visualize you are bending the right wrist,
Moving your astral right hand up and down,
Up and down.
Without moving nor tensing the physical body,
Wiggle the fingers of the astral right hand.
Now bring your awareness to the right elbow.
Move your astral lower arm up and down a few times.
Very good.
Now bring your awareness to the right shoulder and liberate your entire right arm from the physical body.
Now let's move to the left arm.
First,
The left wrist.
Move only your astral left hand up and down from the wrist.
The elbow.
Move the astral lower arm up and down and wiggle your fingers.
The left shoulder.
Liberate your entire astral left arm from the body.
Now both arms together.
Make wide sweeping motions from the side of the body up over your head and back down again beside the thighs.

Now let's liberate the legs.
Bring your awareness to the right ankle.
Move only your astral right foot up and down.
The right knee.
Bend your lower leg downwards through the floor and then back up and then back up again.
The right hip.
Lift your entire astral right leg straight up towards the sky and then place it back down again.
Move your awareness to the left leg,
The left ankle,
The left knee,
The left hip without tensing even a single muscle in your physical body.
Lift both of your legs up over your body.
Continue lifting and bring your feet behind your head in the popular yoga position called plow.
The toes now touching the floor behind your head and return your legs back down in front of you.
Now bring your awareness to the neck.
Move your astral head from side to side a few times.
Now bring your astral hands beside your shoulders and push your torso up,
Liberating your chest and abdomen from the body and lay back down.
Now all at once roll over out of your body to one side,
First onto your stomach and again roll onto your back.
You are now outside your body.
Now rise onto your feet and look down at the physical body still lying in savasana.
Look around your room and notice a unique feature there in the center of the room is a circular platform.
This is a stargate.
As you walk up to it,
You reach out and touch it.
Feel the smooth,
Cool surface beneath your fingertips.
As you touch the stargate,
Recall your intention from earlier to travel to your desired dimension.
The stargate responds by beginning to hum and glow with a soft light.
You step onto the platform and the humming grows louder,
Filling your ears with a low,
Thrumming sound.
Suddenly,
Rings rise up from the stargate floor,
Encircling you completely.
The hum grows louder and the light becomes brighter until you are surrounded by a blinding white light.
As the light fades,
The rings descend back down and you find yourself in a new world.
Give your eyes some time to adjust to this new world.
What does it look like?
What is different about it from our own world?
You step away from the platform and begin to explore this new reality.
I will give you some time to explore.
But the musical drone of the Tanpura will always be here,
Guiding you back to the stargate whenever you are ready to return.
Now,
Before returning home,
Let's travel again to another destination,
Shall we?
Follow the drone of the Tanpura back to the platform of the stargate.
Step onto its surface and create the intention to travel to a new astral dimension.
Feel the hum and glow once again.
See the rings ascend from the platform.
The humming grows louder and you are surrounded by white light once again.
Once again,
When the light fades,
You find yourself in yet another dimension.
Use your imagination to visualize this new world.
What is unique about it?
What are the colors,
Sounds,
And other sensations?
Continue on your journey,
Traveling to different dimensions through the stargate.
Each time,
Strengthen your perceptual abilities to create a new and unique world.
Engage your imagination to encounter unique beings or creatures that are completely foreign to you,
Or landscapes that are impossible in our own world.
As you explore these dimensions,
Know that you have the power to create and imagine anything you desire.
Use this opportunity to stretch your imagination and open yourself up to new possibilities.
Now it is time to return home.
Of course,
You can stay in your chosen dimension,
And then follow these instructions to return in your own time.
Follow the drone of the Tanpura back to the stargate.
Touch the surface and feel the hum and glow once more.
Step onto the platform and create the intention to return to the physical dimension of planet Earth and to the waking state of externalized consciousness.
As the rings ascend,
The humming grows louder,
And you are surrounded by white light once again.
When the light fades,
You find yourself back in the room where you began,
And there is your body.
Just as you left it,
Walk over to your body and lie down inside of it.
Now,
Back home in your body,
Extrovert your awareness and create a mental image of your physical surroundings.
Take a moment to breathe deeply and reflect on your journey.
What did you experience?
What did you learn?
How can you bring this sense of openness and imagination into your daily life?
Whenever you are ready,
Very gently begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.
Take a deep breath in and slowly open your eyes and return to the waking state and the physical world.
Carry this sense of adventure with you,
Knowing that you have the power to create and imagine new possibilities even here in this physical dimension as well.
