Hi,
And welcome to this mini mindful meditation moment created just for you.
There are times in our day where we forget to check in with ourselves.
We forget sometimes how important it is to notice how we feel,
To remember how vital our breath is,
How it flows throughout our body,
How it takes place in our mind and in our spirit.
I want you to take a moment to begin to perhaps tune into yourself and just your breath alone.
Notice any agendas that you may have for yourself right now as much as you can.
Sometimes you'll notice in the practice of mindfulness that our thoughts come and go and that's okay for right now.
Have as many thoughts as you like,
But just maintain that awareness that when they come in to be mindful to let them go.
And so as you continue to tune in to your breath,
Just noticing what it's like releasing any reminders,
Any agenda,
Anything that you have to do later or tomorrow,
Just being present with how you feel right now.
In this mindful practice,
We're going to tune in to what it is that your body needs right now.
Whether it's a breath of fresh air,
Whether it's releasing any tension in your muscles,
Whether it's sending your mind and soul love or whether it's allowing space for you to grow or to move ahead.
Whatever it is that your body needs right now,
I invite you to take a deep breath in.
On the exhale,
Release through your mouth the air until there is no air left in your lungs,
It is all out into the earth,
Into the wind.
I invite you now to take another deep breath in through your nose with clean,
Pure,
Fresh air.
And on the exhale this time,
Imagine releasing a color into the world,
Whatever color of your choice.
This time we're going to breathe in again through your nose.
And now we're going to attach an emotion you wish to release right now to that color you just visualized out into the air to let go of.
Tuning into your body,
Begin to focus on your heart center.
Take note to what it needs.
Does it need a hug?
Does it need a smile?
Does it need laughter?
Does it need joy?
Just tune into what it is your heart needs for nourishment right now.
Tuning your body to continue the process of relaxation,
Settling in to wherever it is that you are right now.
Begin to embody these feelings.
Begin to embody joy.
Let joy dance around through and in and out and over and under every single muscle in your mind and your soul.
Let it float around and wave around and just be present.
And notice how this feels.
Then perhaps bring in the emotion of gratefulness and gratitude in and over and around and throughout every single cell and atom and molecule in your body.
And tuning back into your heart,
Feeling a sense of well-being,
A sense of happiness and joy,
A sense of nourishment.
I invite you to carry this with you for the duration of your day ahead.
Gently,
Little by little,
Taking one last deep breath in.
On the release,
Sinking into your body,
Feeling your entire presence at this moment and so much gratitude for yourself.
You gently begin to come back to your body.
If your eyes are closed,
Begin to blink them open and have a beautiful day or night ahead.
