My name is Pam and I am honored to accompany you on this journey today.

Being fully in the present moment is a precious gift that we can give ourselves.
I invite you to accept this gift along our journey today.
Please take a moment to settle into your surroundings.
Take a moment to settle into a comfortable position either sitting comfortably or laying down.
Once you are comfortable,
Please close your eyes.
Take a moment to settle into your breath,
Bringing awareness to the sensation of breathing throughout your body.
Take your time.
Feeling your breath fill up your entire body and relax your whole body on your exhalation.
Feeling your body deepening into relaxation as you keep breathing.
Imagine that you are surrounded by darkness,
Just like how it looks with your eyes closed.
You are safe here and you feel secure.
You can leave at any time by opening your eyes.
This is darkness and that is all.
Before you is a door and it has your name on it.
If you open this door,
You can move into a peaceful meadow where your body and mind will be refreshed.
When you are ready,
Move towards the door.
Place your hand on its handle and open it up.
Beautiful warm white light pours into the darkness that surrounds you.
You feel the warmth of the light rejuvenating your skin.
You move through the doorway and it disappears behind you.
Before you is lush,
Green,
Vibrantly bright.
This is the Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary in East Hampton,
Massachusetts.
As you look out at the beautiful meadow,
All you see are different shades of green under the glistening sun.
Tall trees,
Marsh,
Grasslands and wildflowers fill this place.
Nothing and no one can bother you here unless you invite someone to join you today at the sanctuary.
Breathing in,
You notice that the air here is very clean and pure.
It feels like you are breathing in the freshest,
Most crisp air.
The sun shines down upon you and fills you with its love,
Light and warmth.
Feel the sun soaking into your skin,
Into your heart and replenishing you with love.
Breathe in this refreshing air as you enjoy the sunlight shining down upon you.
Looking down at the ground,
You see beautiful,
Cool grass.
There is an inviting path for you to move along and you gracefully find your way to it.
As you move along,
Perhaps you come across some of the different species of birds that are found here.
As this sanctuary has been home to 249 different species of birds,
You are sure to find one of your favorite color fluttering peacefully about.
Moving through this area is peaceful.
You look up at the trees and you feel comfortable surrounded by them.
You are surrounded by the color green,
A color of growth and renewal.
As you continue along the path,
You find that you have been moving through it effortlessly and have made your way quite far when you look at the map.
You have nowhere to be right now.
There is no rush for this stroll.
You are moving effortlessly through this beautiful,
Lush,
Meadow sanctuary.
You come across a trickling stream,
The Mill River,
Which has a shady spot for you to rest at comfortably.
The water flows before you.
Its delicate sound is peaceful in the background.
As you move towards the stream,
The water is crystal clear.
It looks so healthy,
Clean and pure.
You notice some leaves are falling into the river.
You watch as they flow with the stream of the river until you lose sight of them and the river carries them on.
If you would like,
Place a word,
A worry or a thought onto a leaf.
You can follow this leaf until it flows through the river and you can't see it anymore.
Take your time to watch the leaves float past.
Take your time.
Watch as the leaf floats down the river.
Further and further away.
Further and further away.
Until you can't see it anymore.
Stay at this place as long as you wish.
If you wish to fall asleep,
Gently stop listening and doze off now.
When you are ready to leave,
Just remember that you can always come back to this place.
Take a moment to come back into your body.
Feel your feet.
Wiggle your toes.
Feel your hands.
Wiggle your fingers.
Perhaps take a very slow and gentle stretch with your body.
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes.
Taking in your environment slowly and patiently.
Refreshed,
Relaxed and ready for the day.
