My name is Pam and I am honored to accompany you on this journey today.

Being fully in the present moment is a precious gift that we can give ourselves.
I invite you to accept this gift along our journey today.
Find a position to lie down or sit comfortably.
Position yourself that your breathing happens as effortlessly as possible.
This is your time to rest and relax.
You can rest your hands on your lap or your stomach.
Observe your breath gently and be curious.
Pay attention to the movements that happen throughout your body while inhaling and exhaling.
Notice the expansions and contractions of your chest and your belly.
Feel the physical emotion and mental tension dissolve without having to make any effort at all.
Little by little,
Areas of peace and serenity begin to arise between one thought and another.
Inhale and exhale.
Do not feel rushed in any way.
Take three more deep breaths.
Exhale by completely filling your lungs.
Hold the air for a few moments.
And now exhale slowly as you imagine breathing out all anxieties,
Insecurities,
Traumas of the past,
And worries about the future.
Just breathe them out.
Release all anger.
Release all fears.
Release all restlessness.
See all this simply dissolving in the air.
Once again,
Inhale,
Hold the air,
Exhale slowly.
As you breathe in and out,
You'll begin to feel lighter and lighter.
For the last time,
Inhale in a very deep way,
Hold the air,
And now exhale.
Feel yourself completely free from any emotion holding you back.
You've arrived at a wonderful place.
The air feels fresh in a way that only ocean air can.
Negative ions are abundant in nature,
Especially around the ocean.
Negative ions are cleansing in many ways,
And you can feel the effects already.
The sky is blue and the sun warms you.
There is a slight ocean breeze,
But you have a comfortable sweater keeping you warm.
You already feel so much more calm than you did just a few short moments ago.
You are on a smooth cement path.
It is a short path,
And the landmark that you are visiting is in view.
At Situat Light,
A historic lighthouse in the seaside community of Situat,
Massachusetts.
Constructed in 1811,
This lighthouse is one and a half stories and 25 feet tall.
Octagonal in shape,
This split granite block tower is white with a green lantern room on the top.
Situat Light is small but iconic and holds a great deal of history.
It has seen wars and centuries of wear and tear from the ocean storms.
And yet,
Its light still shines.
When you reach the Situat Light,
You round the corner lightly touching its surface as you turn.
As you look up,
You marvel at this historic landmark before stepping onto the wooden platform.
This platform leads to a sandy and rocky area.
You move along this area and look around.
The Atlantic Ocean surrounds you.
The deep blue water is calm today,
But the sound of the gentle waves are relaxing.
If you continue to follow the path,
It will lead you to a jetty made of large rocks.
In this place,
You are completely safe.
You are perfectly balanced and it will feel effortless for you to move along the jetty.
If you feel comfortable,
Begin to move towards the jetty.
As you move from rock to rock,
You feel more in tune with the ocean than ever before.
The waves move in and out.
In and out.
Just like your breath.
The salty ocean air makes it so easy to breathe.
In and out.
In and out.
The sun is shining on you and it warms you up.
Even while the waves crash against the jetty,
You feel a stillness within.
Standing here makes you feel small and as you look out to the grand ocean,
Feeling this way is a comfort.
Your worries,
Anxieties and insecurities seem smaller too.
As the waves wash against the jetty again and again,
Remember how our negative emotions can wash away bit by bit when we think clearly and when we let ourselves be refreshed like the waves refresh the shore continuously throughout the day.
You can stay in this place as long as you like.
When you decide to leave,
You gently move from rock to rock back to the shore.
You now have reached the familiar wooden dock.
As you turn to leave,
You look again at the lighthouse.
For over 200 years,
Situite Light has been a beacon of light and hope for ships in the sea.
Let this be a reminder for us.
Times in life are all but guaranteed,
But you are strong enough to handle them.
Like this small but mighty lighthouse,
It doesn't matter your physical abilities.
What matters is the size of your strength within.
You have a light inside you.
A light that inspires.
Let this light shine for yourself and for others.
