With the fast pace of life many of us live,
It's often necessary to take a moment to slow down and reset our mind.
This meditation works like magic as you think of things you are grateful for,
Big or small,
That grace your life.
These could be material things,
Physical things or people.
Anything that warms your heart and brings you into the present moment.
With that in mind,
Let's begin the meditation.
Stop whatever you are doing and close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in to centre yourself and slowly breathe out.
One more deep breath in and slowly breathe it out.
Your body begins to relax as you take this time to slow down.
Now,
With steady breaths,
Let's count your blessings by connecting with five things you are truly grateful for.
Breathe in as the first thing comes to mind and breathe out with gratitude.
Breathe in as you think of the second thing and breathe out with gratitude.
Breathe in for the third one and breathe out with gratitude.
Now number four,
Breathe in and breathe out gratitude.
And one last time,
Which blessing comes to mind?
Breathe in and breathe out with gratitude.
Now,
With these five blessings in mind,
Place your hand on your heart.
Feel the gratitude which has warmed you.
You feel free of tension as the thoughts of gratitude has lifted your energy.
You are thankful to have this beating heart keeping you alive.
Connect with your breath as you breathe in and out.
Now connect to the love you have in your heart at this moment.
Whatever,
If any,
Challenges you have going on in your life,
Embrace them now.
And know that you can and will overcome them all the time you have love in your heart.
As your whole body warms with gratitude,
You feel ready to continue your day.
Take a deep breath in and as you breathe out,
Slowly open your eyes.
Thank you for spending this time with me.
