This meditation will guide you into meeting your spirit guide.
Repeat the meditation as many times as you like as you gather specifics about your guide,
Who is with you at this present time.
So to begin,
Find a comfortable place where you can sit or lie down.
Let your hands rest naturally and comfortably in your lap or on top of each other.
Close your eyes.
Start breathing deeply and fully,
Eventually to a natural breathing rhythm.
Focus on your breath and nothing else.
When a thought comes,
Acknowledge the thought,
Let it pass and go back to focusing on your breath.
Notice any areas of tension in your body and relax those areas now.
Your body will continue to relax deeper and deeper,
Heavy and relaxed.
Imagine that you are at the bottom of a stairway.
Imagine taking a step up,
A single step closer to meeting your spirit guide.
Further ascend the stairs,
Going upwards,
Up and up.
Picture yourself going up the stairway,
One step at a time.
It is a comfortable,
Safe ascent to a place of love and safety.
Move up,
Step by step,
At your own pace,
Becoming more and more relaxed with each step you take.
Take another step up and another,
More deep relaxed with each step.
You might even become a bit sleepy as you get closer and closer to the top.
Allow your mind to drift and your body to relax,
Heavy and comfortable.
Moving up the stairway,
Up and up,
Almost to the top now.
When you reach the top,
You will be relaxed.
Take the last few steps up to the top of the stairway.
In front of you is a bright golden door.
Before you enter,
Imagine yourself totally surrounded by the white light.
Breathe this light into every cell and tissue in your body until you become one with the light.
Step through the door.
The air is pure and shrouded by fog.
You walk forward eager to see what is at the other side.
The fog parts and you feel at peace,
You feel protected.
Before you is a beautiful and colourful garden with colours so vibrant.
The sun is shining and there is an abundance of birds and small insects.
You slowly walk forward and kick off your shoes and you feel the soft green grass beneath your feet.
You see a very large tree in the distance and you feel it beckoning you.
As you get closer,
You notice a white bench beneath the tree.
You walk towards the bench and sit down.
Close your eyes and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Your spirit guide is here.
They are walking towards you and you can just make out your guide coming through the mist.
As they walk closer,
You can see your guide clearly.
You can see your guide in your mind's eye.
Notice their height and any features such as hair,
Colour,
Face,
Shape,
Eye colour and also what they are wearing.
Also notice what they are wearing on their feet.
Are they female or male?
Sometimes they do not have a gender.
Invite your guide to sit next to you on the bench as if they are a long lost friend.
If this is your main guide,
Then they have been through everything you have experienced in your life.
Your loves,
Your losses,
Your challenges and your joys.
This is your time now to open up to your guide and to receive any messages from them.
Just relax and let everything flow.
Become aware of your body and how you are feeling.
What do you sense or feel?
You may feel tingling and warmth or pressure on one side of your body.
If you feel sensations on your left side,
Then your guide is female.
If you feel sensations on your right,
Then your guide is male.
Whatever comes to the forefront of your mind,
You may feel a pressure within your third eye chakra.
At this time you may ask them what their name is.
They may not reveal their name straight away.
You can continue to repeat this meditation until they reveal it to you.
Enjoy the loving exchange of two souls.
Your guide has been with you in many lives.
Pour out your troubles or joys and let sit quietly for a couple of minutes.
As your guide brings forth any messages of wisdom and advice for you.

It is now time to leave the garden.
Your guide says that you may return to this beautiful garden,
Especially when you need peace of mind or advice.
Your guide will be waiting for you at the bench.
All you need to do is ask for them to appear and they will be beside you.
They remind you that you are loved dearly and they cherish the energetic connections you make with them.
You exit via the golden door and take a step downwards.
Start by awakening your body at each step.
Wiggle your toes up to your knees,
Your hips,
Your shoulders,
Your neck and your head.
Your body will continue to awaken as you reach the bottom of the stairs.
Move down,
Step by step,
Slowly,
Becoming more and more awake with each step you take.
Moving down the stairway,
Down and down,
Almost to the bottom.
When you reach the bottom,
You will be awake.
When you are ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
