Imagine yourself standing at the foot of a wooden bridge.
As you walk barefoot along the bridge,
Your footsteps melt softly behind you.
You pause to gaze across the lake,
To see that you are surrounded by many trees of magnificent and vibrant colours.
Your water mirrors these beautiful colours which reflect their amazing hues around you.
You walk slowly towards a gateway,
Which is an entrance to a heavenly place.
As you enter the garden,
Ahead of you is a bamboo grove which you part to go through.
The warming sun shines down on your face and your body.
As you walk,
You can hear the sounds of water trickling before you.
In front of you there is an enormous water fountain in the middle of a lily pond.
Giant lily pads skim the surface of the pond.
You feel guided to step into one and sit down.
The lily pads support your weight,
Just as you are supported on this special journey.
As you float towards the fountain,
You feel calm and comforted,
Absorbing the wondrous beauty around you.
You reach the fountain and the water droplets from the fountain fall onto your skin.
It feels cool and gentle.
The water feels like the healing waters from heaven.
You feel at peace as the water flows down towards your feet,
Purifying your being,
Washing all worries and fears away.
After a while,
You open your eyes and catch a glimpse of a coloured light,
So vivid and it lights up the whole sky.
It is floating gently downwards towards you.
As this beautiful light gets closer,
It appears as the majestic Archangel Michael.
Michael stands tall,
His blue aura so vibrant.
He is wearing a gold armour of protection.
Attached he has a blue cloak.
His sword is by his side,
Powerful and ready,
With a shield to protect all from harm.
He stands courageous and bold.
Michael steps down and enfolds you in his comforting wings.
His message to you is as follows,
My child,
You are safe at all times with me.
You are guarded with my light.
Take the sword which is being bestowed upon you.
Stay strong and full of courage.
I am here.
You are brave and one of my faithful warriors,
Upstanding in your belief in doing good for all.
Michael now joins you on your journey through the garden.
Know that you are safe,
Protected and supported with him.
The great lily pad takes you to the edge of the pond and you step out onto a stone path.
The path leads you through a rose arch and at the end of the path is a large wooden doorway.
The doorway is covered with tangled ivy and bright pink roses entwining as one.
The doorway beckons.
You open the door and walk all the way through.
Ahead of you is a walled garden,
A secret and unknown place.
A meadow filled with wild flowers.
You can smell the fragrance of the flowers,
The grass,
The sound of the birds whistling and chirping in the trees,
The leaves rustling in the wind.
Butterflies daintily fly from the tips of each flower.
Bees exploring the pollen,
Dragonflies dancing in the wind.
At the far corner of the garden is a gazebo,
A resting place to look out over the garden.
The gazebo is draped in fine silk,
Trailing orchids and hanging quartz crystals.
You follow Michael towards it.
The path to the gazebo contains a carpet of petals of all the wild flowers in the garden.
The breeze picks up the dandelion thistles and carries them gently through the air,
Ready to plant their seeds elsewhere in the garden.
As you reach the entrance to the gazebo,
You climb up some old stone steps.
The gazebo is waiting.
Its magic calling to you.
Michael holds out his hand and you are inside the gazebo.
You gaze out from your lookout point across the garden.
The flowers and the trees,
The birds and the bees are happily in tune with each other.
The beautiful sea of flowers,
The colours,
Smells and sounds of life is magnificent.
Michael encourages you to sit in the gazebo.
Michael reminds you that before you go to sleep,
To call upon him for protection,
To imagine him with you,
Protecting you in a shield of blue light.
Fully protected and safe while at rest and in dream state.
You accept Michael's guidance and he places his healing hands on your shoulders.
Enjoy the healing from Michael for a few minutes.
As you awake,
You feel revitalised and relaxed.
It is time to say goodbye to Michael.
But remember that you can call upon Michael whenever you need protection,
Support and strength.
Michael has time for all of us.
Michael embraces you with his angel wings and then he has gone.
When you are ready,
Imagine standing up and walking down the stairs and out through the garden.
See yourself open the gate to leave the garden just until next time.
Then simply remember where you were at the beginning of the meditation.
Open your eyes and you are back into the physical world again.
