A way to meditate is to creatively attune yourself to what helps you to feel that infinite beauty inside of yourself,
Around you,
In your energy,
In your body,
In your mind,
In your feelings.
And for me,
One beautiful aspect of infinity is the stars.
It's believed in many mystical traditions that we actually originated from the stars.
Our evolution is interesting,
But it's believed that our consciousness comes from these beautiful stars,
That the light that makes us human comes from those beautiful stars.
And where are they?
They are all over the universe.
If you look up into the beautiful dark sky that is perhaps a shining,
That is perhaps part of the world that you're in today,
Depending where you are in the world,
And you look into the sky,
You will see that you are so insignificant.
And when you feel that insignificance and feel the power of the universe,
That allows for that greatness to be felt so that the ego mind,
The little space that we often so easily get lost in,
Becomes insignificant.
And our focus then becomes that beautiful light.
So this meditation is utilizing the energy of the stars,
Which I feel in the next few days will be very,
Very strong.
During this time,
The universe is aligned in such a beautiful way that light is able to shine more brightly than ever down towards the earth that we inhabit.
So feel this energy by closing your eyes.
Just take a few moments to be aware.
All around you,
All around this earth,
Wherever you are,
There is that infinite sky,
Endless depth.
It is part of you.
You are the universe.
You are that beautiful light that is shining down towards this aspect that is witnessing everything.
Be aware as you sit in deep,
Deep stillness,
As you sit and breathe very gently at this beautiful light.
Not only shine so that it becomes a visual harmony,
But also is falling down from the sky down towards your body and creating a sense of lightness all around the energetic body.
This lightness at the top of your head,
Around your face,
Around your hands,
As you open up the light that is shining down from those millions and millions of stars out there and touching you as a person so that you become part of that light.
Feel that not just in the physical sense,
But around this body that is you.
Sense this lightness all around.
As your consciousness opens,
As the witness within you becomes very clear that you are a channel to this beautiful light,
And the light within you becomes more and more clear.
And you realize that everything inside of you is infinite in its own nature,
That beyond what you think you know,
Beyond your thoughts,
There is a quality that is much more deep,
Much more real.
As you touch upon this,
The space inside allows for the space outside to merge into a sense of oneness.
So there is no limitation,
There is no space that limits your mind or your feelings or your energy.
You simply allow yourself to drift,
That sense of openness where the Infinite supports you totally.
That freedom that you begin to experience as you let go of everything and come back to the clear focus of beautiful light that is shining all around us.
As you breathe in and breathe out,
Be aware that as you do this,
Be aware that every aspect of life is doing the same.
Deep inside of yourself,
This beautiful light that is shining is not just expanding within you,
But is expanding everywhere,
Your intention,
Your focus,
Your clarity allows for this beautiful light to expand to every aspect of all creation.
As you breathe in and breathe out,
Notice how beautiful everything becomes.
Notice how the rhythm of your thoughts flow from that reference,
Flow from that beautiful light that you are embracing inside of yourself.
Notice how your thoughts suddenly become more still,
That the rhythm of your thoughts become so harmonious,
They are almost identical to the light that is shining on those beautiful stars.
Your own thoughts become manifestations of light.
Notice how your emotions,
How your feelings transform to beautiful light in the same way as you let go of everything,
The light from within the emotions begin to expand,
The rhythm of the emotions begin to become so beautiful that there is nothing that disturbs that focus,
That allows you to expand further and further,
Deeper and deeper.
Notice as you go deeply into this journey that everything,
Even the structures that felt in the past like they were there and had been there for a very long time,
Dissolve as the rhythm of the infinite touches everything from a depth that you only begin to understand as you allow that harmony to flow through all aspects that make you human,
Through your mind,
Through your feelings,
Through the structures that have limited your perceptions to a space where everything is so beautifully bright.
It is almost as if you become one of those stars in the universe and shine brightly and your light becomes unstoppable,
Your light shines through thousands and thousands of obstacles that become irrelevant as the light expands to such a point that there is no obstacle,
There is no structure that can hold it back as everything in essence is this beautiful light.
As you magnify this light within yourself it becomes clear that you are part of everything that is shining this beautiful light all around you.
The universe is full of stars just like you as you observe this beautiful light that is shining around you,
As you look deeply into the universe that is your own mind you become aware that the stars are everywhere,
The light is shining clearly everywhere as you focus on this light understand there is no darkness,
There is no limitation.
Understand that the light is made more beautiful by everything that is your experience,
This beautiful light is the essence of all experience.
As you breathe in and breathe out and feel completely connected to this sense of expansion give yourself a few moments to not just feel this in your body,
In your mind but to be so free that you allow that depth of who you are,
A sense of freedom to touch this light from within itself so that you merge totally with this light and all there is is that sense of expansion,
All there is is that sense of expansion.
Allow the mind to relax,
Allow the emotions to relax,
Allow the breath to relax as you move deeper and deeper into this beautiful sense of expansion.
Notice as you do this behind everything there is a sense of joy,
A sense of contentment,
A sense of knowing that you're coming back home for a part that is more real than anything else.
As you feel this,
As you understand this from the depth of who you are allow this wisdom to remain with you,
To remain with you as a reminder no matter what goes on in your life,
As a reminder of who you really are,
As a reminder of your essence so that no matter what is going on the heart remembers,
The heart feels this beautiful sense of expansion.
As you breathe in and breathe out,
As you breathe out,
As you breathe in and breathe out slowly when you're ready,
Coming back.
As you come back how wonderful it is to be able to have the time to put this into practice,
How wonderful it is to remind ourselves in the moments where everything seems dark and difficult that there is something deeper,
There is a meaning that we may not understand in this moment but there is a meaning that makes sense to our hearts.
By doing this meditation we then can understand what Kabir is speaking about.
There is no good,
There is no bad,
There is only one true experience and that is the experience of being profoundly human and we are able to put that into practice and we see that all aspects of being human are wonderful,
They are a beautiful lesson,
A beautiful experience that we can appreciate much more deeply and when we do this,
When we appreciate all our experiences and accept them for what they are without trying to push them to be something other than what they are,
When we come to that sense of acceptance then we understand what Kabir is speaking about,
That is the universe is light,
Every aspect of the universe is light,
Every molecule that makes the universe exist in this dimension as it does is light.
When we can see this not just on an intellectual level but when we can see this through our meditation then that experience becomes very valuable because we have a sense of who we are and we are able to work through situations with much more sense of deep peace and much more sense of stillness that creates the possibility for real transformation to happen and for the state of enlightenment to not just be something that we read about in books or that we hope for one day if something miraculous happens but that becomes slowly,
Gradually very much more part of our existence.
