Hello,

I hope you can hear me.

As you prepare for the meditation,

As you prepare for this transmission,

As you prepare to just come back to a state of awareness,

State of presence,

Making sure that all is still around you,

All is still within,

Making sure the mundane world,

Whatever aspects of the mundane are not there disturbing you,

So that you can come back here to this moment,

Making sure any mobile phones or technologies that create distraction are just turned off so that you can come back to this moment.

As you breathe in and breathe out,

Making sure that your body is in alignment with the natural flow of life,

So your chest is open as you breathe in,

Shoulders relaxed,

Neck relaxed,

Jaws relaxed,

Eyes relaxed,

Any tension in the hands or in the hips,

Just making sure as you breathe out that you relax the tension and let go of this need to be there as you come back here to this beautiful moment.

As the breath relaxes into this moment,

As you come back into a deep alignment with your body,

So you are aware of your breath,

You're present to your breath,

Then everything naturally flows in a different way.

You may notice that as you breathe in and breathe out,

Your body is more relaxed and the energy of lifeless moves to a point within yourself where you're more conscious,

More present of the senses.

You may be aware of sounds in a different way,

You may be aware of smells in a different way,

You may be aware of the sense of touch,

The way that you are sitting,

The way that you're holding your body,

The way that your hands rest,

You may be aware that there is a different sense of information that's being transmitted within yourself,

A different form of communication.

You may be aware of the senses and the subtle senses communicating in a different way,

This state of presence allows you to come back to an ancient wisdom,

To a knowledge,

Sense of realization that cannot be easily described in words,

That can only be experienced,

Experienced in this moment.

So if the mind is busy trying to understand or control the experience,

Just remember as you breathe in and breathe out that all is okay,

There is no need to battle or to struggle with the thoughts,

Just watch them as if you're watching an interesting movie with a sense of detachment,

A sense of this is just a movie and a more deep connection to that which is aware,

The observer,

That which is within yourself able to see everything from this deeper perspective,

Able to understand everything from this deeper perspective,

Awareness.

As you watch the mind in this way,

As you watch everything in this way,

Then there is this sense of warm detachment that happens,

The warmth comes from embracing the quality of communication within this moment and the detachment is that there is no need to struggle,

There is no need to fight with the thoughts or feelings that come up or get caught by them and struggle with them,

You're just observing with a sense of interest,

Sense of detached interest or a detached curiosity.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Deep breath.

Breathing in and breathing out.

As you breathe and relax into the stillness,

Even awareness itself becomes aware of awareness,

So it's almost as if you're aware of this point within yourself that is aware of the mind,

That is aware of the senses,

It's almost as if you're looking at yourself looking in a detached way at all and everything and the quality of this awareness that is able to be aware of itself is stillness.

Not just a stillness where sound is different or where sound doesn't disturb but a stillness that can be sensed through the various senses within your body,

Sense of experience that becomes more clear,

Sense of connection to the experience that becomes more profound within the stillness.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Deep breath.

As you let go,

Come back to this beautiful stillness every time even if your mind wanders or is distracted by this or that,

The quality of stillness embodies and becomes part of the very structure of your thinking of consciousness.

So even within the thoughts there is a sense of stillness,

There is a sense of tranquility that becomes part of this beautiful experience where everything is more still,

More quiet.

Deep breath.

As you continue to breathe in and breathe out,

Embrace within the breath the quality of stillness,

Coming back and anchoring yourself within this space even if the mind,

Even if your feelings for a moment or two get caught by the mundane,

By the world,

By an experience,

By whatever is going on,

Make sure that you remind yourself of this stillness within the way that you breathe,

Within this space that you've now experienced,

That you've now expanded into.

In connection with this space the breath flows more naturally.

Even if you just remember the space as a thought,

As a remembrance within your mind,

The breath relaxes,

The body relaxes and stillness expands,

Consciousness expands and communicates in a very different way,

In a more still way,

In a more profound way,

In a more meaningful way.

As you continue with this practice today,

As you continue with the remembrance of this practice today,

Just let go every time the mind is caught,

Your feelings are caught,

Your physical reaction to the situation is caught by the noise,

Caught by the disturbance,

And remind yourself to come back to stillness.

We now continue with the Hu meditation.

We now continue with the Hu meditation.

We now continue with the Hu meditation.

We now continue with the Hu meditation.

We now continue with the Hu meditation.

We now continue with the Hu meditation.

We now continue with the Hu meditation.

We now continue with the Hu meditation.

This was exactly what I was looking for -- a practice of awarenessing awareness and a tangible way to think about and physically locate it (i.e., stillness). ❤️🙏 PS -- I just listened again and wonder if you consider self to be stillness or the awareness of experience? Or both? Or neither?
