Dear friends, At different points in the year we will think of people we have known and loved and we will feel their loss again. This is only natural because after all grief comes to us in waves ebbing and flowing. One day we believe we are doing fine, The next we are struck by a sense of loss. This is the price we pay for having loved someone dearly. Sometimes we come across a poem or a reading which helps us in these lonely times. These are words that appear on a memorial to Lancelot Salkeld Porter, Who died in January 1943 in the course of the Second World War. Lancelot was aged only 31 years and these are his words. I hope we will find some comfort today and every day by the realisation that we are in the care of one beyond imagining who planned the pattern of the stars. Namaste.
