This is a short story about a young Japanese girl. A teacup given to Emi by her grandmother had fallen to the floor and was broken. A kindly potter practising the Japanese art of Kintsugi repaired the teacup leaving it even more beautiful than before. This careful repair gives us lessons for life far beyond the fixing of cups and saucers.
