Dear friends,
Welcome to this blessing from Monday.
It's the second in the series of seven short meditations,
One for each day and each of them designed to bring you to a place of happiness.
Before we begin,
Let's take a moment to become present,
To shake off the cobwebs or the busyness,
Whatever it is we need to drop so as to come into the now.
So relax,
This is your time to simply be.
Let's take a moment for reflection before the blessings.
May you be well.
May you be well,
Happy and peaceful.
May you feel at home in your own heart,
Confident in the knowledge that you have a right to be here.
May you be free from regrets about the past or worries about the future.
The past cannot be undone,
But it gives us the lessons for life.
The future is for another day,
No point in daydreaming or worrying.
But when we think of the future,
It reminds us to act today,
Right here and right now,
To try to bring into being the future we wish to see.
May you be free from thoughts of revenge or hatred.
This will not help any situation.
It will simply cause unhappiness.
We have all had experiences that we regret.
People who have harmed us or let us down.
But we must let go.
Revenge is a burden too heavy to carry.
So may you be free from any thoughts of revenge or hatred.
We are living through difficult times,
But may you never fall into despair.
May you be encouraged and reassured by remembering all the people who work for good.
And may you add to the store of goodness in the world by adding your small actions and positivity to the hours of every day.
May you be free from despair.
May you find steadiness in uncertain times,
Always trusting the goodness that is still present.
May you be well,
Happy and peaceful.
Namaste.
