The concept of karma is often misused and misunderstood.
Put simply,
It is just the sum total of all our learnings and experiences across our lifetime.
Optionally,
If you subscribe to the notion of reincarnation,
These learnings could be across multiple lifetimes,
This is somewhat academic.
Related to karma is the concept that we travel down a karmic path.
When we stray off it,
Life becomes hard,
We end up pushing water uphill and we have to overcome adversity to get back on track.
Conversely,
When we are on our chosen path,
Life is a breeze and we live a charmed and magical existence.
The problem is that we come onto planet earth without the operator's manual telling us what to do.
Sometimes this makes it hard to know if we are fulfilling our life purpose.
The only barometer we can use is how tough or how easy life is going for us.
There is however a great way to discover what your life purpose is and that's to establish a meta-strategy.
The word meta comes from the Greek and means after,
Beyond,
Above or behind.
So this is the strategy on top of a strategy.
And to get yours all you have to do is to think of a few things you'd like to leave behind as your legacy as a result of your time on this special planet.
And then when that meta-strategy is delivered,
Write down what that will allow you to do for you,
Your family and your business.
Next think about what would be an even better meta-strategy than the first one you thought of.
Then just think about what would happen to the planet as a whole when your second meta-strategy comes to pass.
And breathe in and breathe down.
Once you have your meta-strategy you can do a few things with it.
Write it down and stick it on a wall where you'll see it each day.
You can share it with other people you love and get them to establish their own.
You can also write a book or several books which explores its themes.
The main thing you do with it though is nothing.
As events and opportunities unfold,
Once it's established you can allow the universe to deliver it for you.
Of course this philosophy saves you bags of time,
Not wasting it on activities that are not taking you forward.
All you have to do is as events and opportunities unfold,
Ask yourself if they will help or hinder you in delivering against your meta-strategy.
If they do,
Thank them for coming along.
If they don't,
Also thank them for coming along but either walk away from them or transmute them so they help you reach your destiny.
