Hello.
I'd like to welcome you here to this guided meditation,
Guided visualization.
And I invite you to just settle in,
Allow yourself to get as comfortable as possible,
Whether that's a seated position or lying down.
Just invite yourself to really settle in.
Let the worries of the day melt away,
Or if you're just starting your day,
Just settle into a position of comfort and peace within your own body.
And I invite you to just take a deep inhale in,
Or maybe even an audible sigh out.
Take a few grounding breaths like that.
Deep breath in,
Audible sigh out.
Allow your shoulders to settle.
Maybe move one up,
Back,
And down.
The other up,
Back,
And down.
And as we settle here,
We can feel our grounding cord holding us strongly around our hips,
Coming down our legs deep into the earth.
Take another deep breath into that,
And a releasing breath,
Letting go of anything that's not serving you down your grounding cord.
And as our roots descend through all the layers of the earth,
We are held here in love,
In safety,
In grounding,
In security.
And our roots descend all the way deep down into the center of the earth,
The core of the planet,
Anchoring us here.
Take another deep breath in,
And let that go.
And we simultaneously lean back into the beautiful waterfall of grace that comes in the crown of our head at just the right amount.
And it cleanses our third eye,
Our throat.
We can feel it coming down our central channel,
Our heart.
Pull,
Allow your shoulders to be soft,
Gentle,
But receiving this beautiful cascade of golden light down into your heart.
All the way down your central channel,
Your solar plexus,
Your sacral,
Your root.
And this is this cleansing,
Beautiful river of golden light that reaches all the way up into the heavens.
And allow this beautiful waterfall to fill you with love and calm.
And we're going to now enter into this beautiful guide of meditation of returning home to the light of your true self.
And if you're seated,
You might want to take your right hand and put it on your heart,
Maybe your left hand on your belly,
And we're going to breathe in to the many roles that we were given,
Maybe at an age where we don't even remember.
So from this earliest part of our life,
The days of our lives,
We've been quietly cast into these roles.
And if we liken it to with acting,
Like young actors on a stage that we didn't audition for,
We found ourselves playing parts.
And some of these parts might have been the good one,
The quiet one,
The strong one.
As we get a little bit older,
We might have gotten into roles of the caretaker,
The achiever.
Maybe we were told we acted out or we were the rebel.
And as this happened,
We subtly learned,
Or explicitly,
That certain parts of us were welcomed and other parts of us not so much.
And in this theater of our families,
We shaped ourselves to fit in or to belong.
And take some deep breaths as you think of this.
We can even liken it to when actors are,
You know,
Typecast into a role,
Say,
Like the funny one,
When they're in a movie and their cast is that.
Any other movie that comes after that,
If the first one was a big hit,
It's hard to see them as anyone but the funny one,
Or,
You know,
Maybe another role,
Like the villain,
Same thing.
So in these earliest roles,
Sometimes we're typecast like that into these roles where we start to take them on and not only do we believe them,
But others see us as that.
We're typecast into those types of roles.
And then as we grow,
We go to school and the schoolyards and our classrooms.
We adjust ourselves to that.
We adjust ourselves to what other people see us as.
We adjust our lines.
We adjust expressions to avoid rejection.
And then as that goes into society,
We further tuck away pieces of our truth,
Of our light,
To stay safe.
To fit in.
To be loved.
And slowly,
Unknowingly,
We become typecast.
Like we mentioned,
Like an actor only known for playing the villain or the funny one,
Or the romantic lead.
We're seen through these roles.
And we slowly begin to forget who we were before the costume,
Before the makeup,
Before the script.
But I'm here to remind you,
Beautiful ones,
That there was a time.
Before all the roles,
Before all the conditioning,
Let us return to that now.
And if your hand is still on your heart,
I invite you.
We're going to now return to the light.
Take a deep breath in.
And imagine yourself stepping back,
Back in time,
Before the memories of school,
Before the whispers of,
Be this,
Don't be that.
Before the shaping,
The molding,
The adapting.
I invite you to return now to a space within you that's untouched by the world.
The essence of you,
Who you truly are,
Pure,
Expansive,
Unbounded.
And breathe into this radiant light that you are.
A vast soul,
A presence as infinite as the sky.
Breathe into this space now.
Feel yourself as this expansive light that you are.
Unconfined,
Limitless,
Beyond measure.
This light of yours,
It's always been there.
It's not something you have to create.
It is something you simply have to remember.
Sit with this light.
Allow it to come in,
The crown of your head cascading down,
And it connects to your heart.
To the expansive light of the cosmos,
And feel this light radiate in,
And allow yourself to bathe in the essence of your own light.
With your hand on your heart,
Feel the warmth and the gentleness of your soul.
This is you.
Before the world told you who to be.
Bathe in this expansive light.
And now,
From this space of light,
You notice ahead of you a soft glow.
It's coming from four translucent doors,
And each one of the doors calls to a different part of you.
Each one leads you deeper into the truth of your being.
You may walk towards any door.
There's no wrong choice.
In the first door,
When you enter,
You see a gentle park.
And a winding walkway.
You choose this door,
And you step through,
And you're met with tall trees swaying in the breeze.
Some deep breaths into that as you feel the wind hit your cheek,
And the sunlight illuminates the path beneath your feet.
And you can see your higher self walking beside you.
Calm,
Grounded,
Eyes full of knowing.
And they may take your hand.
They may simply smile at you.
And here,
You feel peaceful belonging.
You remember how to walk your path without fear.
In the second door,
If you choose this,
You walk through,
And you now see a serene,
Untouched beach.
You choose this door,
You step through into warm sand,
Soft beneath your toes.
Take a deep breath into this as you feel the sand squishing beneath your toes.
And the waves of the sea gently roll over you.
In and out.
As you look up,
The sky is endless,
And the sea mirrors your soul's depth.
And you notice your higher self sits nearby,
Maybe watching the horizon.
They look like you,
But you sense they feel lighter,
Freer,
Ageless.
You take a seat beside them,
And you sit in silence as you remember your innate serenity within you.
Take a deep breath into this,
Remembering who you are.
If you choose to step to door number three,
When you step through,
There's a treehouse perched above a lush paradise.
And if you choose this door,
You begin to climb,
And with each step,
You rise into clearer air.
You're able to see a broader view.
When you look around,
The butterflies flutter by,
Birds call out gently,
And when you reach the top,
You see your higher self waiting.
They invite you to sit with them in stillness and joy.
And here,
You are reminded of your playful,
Expansive nature.
Breathe this in.
You feel this lightness of being that is your true home within you.
With your hand on your heart,
You can feel this returning home to you,
To your true self.
And now,
With door number four,
You step into an unknown landscape.
You choose this door and step into mystery,
A blank canvas of possibility.
And the scenery forms as you walk.
Perhaps a meadow,
A desert,
A celestial space.
There is no map.
There are no expectations.
There's simply a knowing and a remembrance.
Take some deep breaths into this.
And your higher self emerges from the openness formed by your soul's deepest knowing and intention.
And here,
You discover the freedom.
The creativity.
And the deep trust in the unknown.
Breathe this in,
This expansiveness of the remembrance of who you are,
Of the return home to self,
The light of your soul.
And into this trust,
Deep breaths.
And I invite you,
As you step through this,
And as we begin to integrate this and return,
Whichever door you step through,
Whether it was one or all of them,
And whoever or whatever you met there,
Know this space is always available to you.
It is not somewhere outside of you.
It is within you.
Beneath the layers,
Beneath the roles.
You are not the roles you played.
You are not the masks you wore to be loved.
You are light.
You are presence.
You are vastness that existed before the script was ever written.
Take a few more deep breaths here.
As you rub your heart,
Feel that knowing deep in your heart.
Feel the resonance of your true self.
And when you're ready,
I invite you to gently bring your awareness back to the present moment.
Back to your physical body.
And I invite you to wiggle your fingers and toes.
Maybe stretch the body as you like,
If you'd like to.
When you feel ready,
Take your time in your own time.
You can sit with this.
I invite you to open your eyes and see the world through this remembrance,
Through this return to self,
Return to the home within you.
Welcome back.
You are whole.
You are free.
You are home.
Thank you for joining me here.
It's been such an honor and a blessing to guide you.
And may this stay with you always and throughout your day.
Deep bows.
Namaste.
