Welcome,

Beloved.

And as you begin this quiet time,

Find a space that's comfortable both in your location and in your body,

Wherever that is.

Thanking God for life,

Take a slow,

Deep breath and let go of any stress or worries that you might feel.

As you do so,

You might feel yourself sinking into the surface that you're resting on.

Allow that to happen as you work to be still and relaxed,

Entering deeper and deeper into His presence.

Take another slow,

Deep breath and release your thoughts,

Letting them drift away,

Knowing that in this moment,

It is well.

Bringing your focus to the here and now,

Let's focus first on our love for God,

Considering all the reasons that you love Him.

What has He done for you?

What favor and kindness have you been shown?

What mercy,

Forgiveness has He offered,

Maybe even more than once,

For the same thing?

He has been so good to us.

He has been good to me.

Although people have failed me,

And we live in a troubled world with troubled people,

God has never failed me.

Sometimes my faith and thought of other people have compromised my understanding and my appreciation for God,

But He's never held that against me.

He's continued to be God in my life.

While my situations in life may not be great,

My God is greater.

It's greater than every circumstance and situation that I might experience,

And for that,

I have to give Him praise.

Psalms 18,

Verses 1 through 3 say,

I will love thee,

O Lord,

My strength.

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,

My God,

My strength,

In whom I will trust,

My buckler,

And the horn of my salvation,

And my high tower.

I will call on the name of the Lord,

Who is worthy to be praised.

So shall I be saved from my enemies.

As you continue on your day to day,

I pray that you're able to take this presence of peace with you,

And knowing that in an imperfect world,

We serve a perfect God who loves us unconditionally and everlastingly.

Lord,

We thank you so much for your kindness,

God,

Your loving mercies that you give to us,

God.

Your word says that they are renewed day by day,

And we receive this today.

As we go forward,

We ask that you just bless and keep us,

Keep us mindful of you today,

Lord.

As our minds may start to worry or wander on different stressors or things that might come against us,

Help us to know that you have our back,

That you are behind us,

God,

You are before us,

God,

You are around us,

God,

And that you're protecting us and working things out,

Lord,

For good.

We thank you for this peace.

In Jesus' name we pray,

Amen.

Beloved,

Go forward and have a blessed day today.
