Hello and welcome.
My name is Tina Stinson and I want to thank you for joining me for this meditation,
Breathe into Peace.
Let us begin by getting into a comfortable position,
Either sitting down or laying.
Just be sure that you'll be able to relax completely where you are.
I want you to start to tune into the sounds that you're hearing.
My voice or the sounds behind my voice.
Allowing your body to surrender into the support of the surface that you're sitting or lying on.
Let go of all expectations to be doing anything and allow yourself to just be in this moment.
I want you to now focus on your breath without controlling it.
Breathe at a normal pace and just begin to feel the air coming in through the nose.
It feels kind of cool when you breathe in and then feel the turn of the breath to exhale and feel the warm air coming out of your mouth.
Continue to just observe your breath.
Let us start to deepen the breath and slowing it down.
Breathing in through the nose,
Filling up your belly and then filling your chest and then exhaling through the mouth.
Releasing all tension.
Relaxing into the breath.
We are now going to breathe in for a count of four and then exhale for a count of eight.
Breathing in through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.
Be sure when you breathe in to breathe into your belly,
Expanding your belly and then your chest and feel free as you exhale through the mouth to release the breath with a sigh.
Let's begin.
Breathe in two three four and exhale two three four five six seven eight.
Breathe in two three four and exhale two three four five six seven eight.
Breathe in two three four exhale two three four five six seven eight.
Keep it going.
Breathe in and out.
Breathe in and exhale.
Now I want you to take a deep breath in through the nose filling your belly,
Filling your chest and then hold at the top.
And exhale through the mouth with a sigh and completely emptying out your lungs.
And when all the air is out of your lungs I just want you to hold your breath for a moment allow yourself to feel the peace that surrounds you in this complete silence.
Release all tension.
And when you get the urge to breathe in take a deep breath in through the nose and hold at the top for just a moment.
I want you to squeeze every muscle in your body including your face just squeeze everything hold it really really tight and then as you exhale just let every muscle relax and release all that tension from your body.
Begin to breathe at a normal pace and move your focus back to the sound of my voice and the sound that you hear behind my voice.
Relax into the peace that you feel.
Now bring your focus to your mind's eye the center of your forehead.
Bring your presence here.
Now repeat after me.
I am at peace.
I am whole.
I am happy.
And I am enough.
Take this peaceful space that you've created in your day and be sure to return as needed to come back into this relaxed state.
Namaste.
