Welcome to the 7 Wonders Retreat Series.
My name is Tina Bruce.
We begin by retreating inwards.
Feel your body breathing.
Sense the current of grace running through your heart.
And let's wander towards your soul.
Imagine now that you are standing barefoot in the red dirt.
In the middle of the Australian desert,
The vast southern sky at sunrise is shades of blush,
Peach,
Burnt orange and gold.
Your eyes are drawn to the horizon ahead and rising over 1,
000 feet above the dusty desert floor emerges a rich red sandstone monolith known as Uluru.
This isn't just a rock but a living and breathing sacred site.
It is filled with stories,
Having been the silent witness to all living things for millions of years.
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land and pay our deepest respect to elders past and present.
Thank you for teaching us the way.
We walk gently together with our ancestors,
As fellow earth custodians connecting to ancient country.
This wonder of our world is infused with the mystical truth that we are one.
The all is one truth breathes us awake.
We share the same air.
We create together the events unfolding in this world.
Our power is interwoven with all creation.
What we say,
Think,
Choose and feel moves like an invisible story through our shared humanity.
Our spirits intertwined like a giant cosmic-sized web.
As a fellow earth custodian,
You belong here,
Grounded into the centre of your being.
We are more similar than we are different,
Equal,
United,
One.
The ground beneath our feet is making seismic shifts to draw us towards this holy truth.
A faulty foundation will always point us back to the path of belonging,
Embodying our connection and deep care for our home called Earth.
The ancestors of this sacred site speak to you now.
Retreat to this place,
My love,
When you feel separate or lost,
When the fear of not belonging shakes you into darkness and isolation,
When you judge the opinions of others as right or wrong,
Good or bad,
When you feel like you don't fit in,
Retreat to this place.
Imagine now that you are placing your hands on this rock and sense a pulse,
A heartbeat,
A current flowing up from the core of the earth.
She is breathing.
This rock has a subtle language.
Sense your field begin to melt and a natural spilling into everything,
As if the moment is saying yes to this wisdom.
Magnetically,
You draw closer,
Accepting its charge and life force.
Can my body really be made up of the same minerals?
My own mini-earth supporting me each day with its structure and stability.
Honour this form and every single cell in your tissues.
They all belong.
Every organ inside you an essential part of your system.
They all belong.
Every emotion banging on the door to your heart,
They're all welcome and they all belong too.
In the end,
We all become stories,
Never really belonging to any particular place,
Except our infinite nature and our eternal souls.
We belong nowhere and everywhere.
We are one.
